Before you check this novel out, I wanted to take a moment to answer a few questions I often get asked—and give you a small teaser of what’s to come. --- 1. What is this novel actually about? On the surface, it’s about parasites, mutations, and survival in a post-collapse Earth—but that’s just the beginning. The real story is about identity, legacy, and how far one boy will go to control a power that’s eating him alive. There's a unique twist that flips everything on its head… and no, the original synopsis is not what the whole story is about. if you want to know more read Chapter 19.5. I explain the twist there. Or better—start from Chapter 1 and let it hit you naturally. --- 2. Is this a harem? Somewhat. There are multiple female characters close to the MC, but not everyone is a love interest. Kai treats most of them as people first—friends, allies, threats—not as trophies. (Note: There will be questionable moments here and there, but it's not going to become a full on 3cchi/harem novel) --- 3. Who’s the MC? Kai Alaric Vogel. He's not your average "chosen one." He’s not edgy for the sake of it. Not perfect either. He’s someone who wants to protect, not dominate. Someone willing to sacrifice himself if that’s what it takes—but not without a plan. He’s not cringe, I promise. --- 4. Is it going to be action-packed? Yes. Absolutely. Exploding parasites, gene-fueled battles, Rift invasions, mind games, and strategic chaos—this story doesn't sit still. Every arc ramps up the stakes, and the action only gets crazier from here. --- 5. How good is the novel? Honestly? It’s the best thing I’ve ever written—and yeah, it's also my first full novel. But I’m serious: the pacing is tight, the plot is layered, and I avoid excessive info dumps. It balances worldbuilding, action, and emotional beats in a way that keeps the story moving. It’s good.
