Artifacts of the Gods

*After a tiring day Rowan returned to his dorm room and laying in his bed. He was thinking about Artifacts and rare items that are uncovered over time or are "Gifted" by Gods as well as what secrets they might hold. Writing everything in a book protected using void magic that Rowan was starting to get more comfortable with as he continued attending the academy's magic classes*.

Artifacts can be categorized into 5 categories.

Common Artifacts - Artifacts commonly found often as rewards of dungeons. Can be crafted by mid level mages and good blacksmiths.

Rare Artifacts - Artifacts that are made from rare material and boss monster remains or found in dungeon rarely. Can be crafted by high level mages and skilled blacksmiths.

Legendary Artifacts - Found in Legendary Dungeons, mostly in seperate prices. Can be crafted from Mythical Monster remains with the help of Arch Mages and Legendary Blacksmiths. [Mostly once every 100 years or more. Total count - 102]

Ancient Artifacts - Only found in the Demonic Realm dungeons extremely rarely. Finding it is one problem, fixing it is another one and getting it to work properly is what makes people prefer other try of weaponry and artifacts. There was a time when they could be crafted but later the method became out of reach for the whole world. [Total Count - 3, being. The Demon General of War's Beloved Sword, Agron the Sword of Blood. The Arch Mage and Master of the Magic Tower's Beloved Staff, Agrasil. The Royal Family's Family Sword, Arcon]

God Gifted Artifacts - Godly Artifacts that can be obtained by a chosen few from the Church. All artifacts of this category are growth type tools and can grow with their user over time giving them near infinite power for the price of their lifespan [or Sacrifices] and if one could satisfy their tool's lust for life they can also gain life force which can practically allow them to live endlessly.

Well, real heroes fighting against Demon Lords died before reaching their 50s according to the history books in the academy's library. None of the heroes were so demonic in nature, not even the worst one recorded who was also rumored to have killed the King of a nature after they refused to help him. Even if there were mildly evil heroes in the history of the world but non of them were as cruel as Aither El Hero, who was titled by the Game Devs as "The Hero of the End". The ending lines of the game contained words from " Killing Everything that Moved" to "He was slain by the Gods which made the world follow the Gods again", everything went a full circle.

*Rowan wanted to know more and couldn't find anymore information then what he had already found. Not having anymore options Rowan decided to talk to the only creature that would know, The Void God but Rowan knew me was going to suffer from mental damage if he stayed there for too long like last time. Entering the Void from the Church wasn't an issue as Rowan's Void Powers allowed a swift pass between the Mortal World and the Void, the only problem was that if he could sustain the pain that would come after. Mustering all his will, he decided to try anyway and saw the Void God once more. Unlike last time the pain in his head was clear, the Void was not a place mortals could enter at will.

Rowan did some calculations on how many questions he could ask before he had to leave the Void and set his goal on 3 at least. The Void God's presence felt more dominating then below and Rowan started he first question, "Do you also have Artifacts like the Gods you made?". The Void God's grime expression told his story as he avoids answering head on and only says that he would know when needed. Not think much Rowan shot his second question, "Would the Void Magic be able to Stop the Gods if he could master it". For which the Void God gave a very vague answer of using the System to gaining much more powers to free him first and with his full help the Gods were not threat. Rowan's third question shot out and the situation felt more like a human interrogating a God, "What do I need to do now". Which was the only question the Void God seems to give a direct answer to being, "Survive, find the Lost ones and use their help to stop the Demon Lord's Subjection. Balance was needed in the world and without it the End will arise, for he had to stop the world's End to achieve what he truly desired.

Rowan's headache grew intense and he had to leave with more questions then answers. He was certain that entering the Void will take time as his mind needed to heal and trying again would only bring him closer to death then his goal. Finally deciding to take more active actions, Rowan talked to Aaron, Armia, Cain, Miya, Magus and Samantha to make them his real "friends". He thought of individually talk to them would be better as he didn't wanted everyone to know each other's secrets just yet. Aaron was first, who was already trusting Rowan and decided to take his help in training and gaining a stable lifestyle. Then was Armia, who was driven by the rage on the current Emperor's lack of respect for the Empire's legacy and wanted the Second Prince on the throne who was a better choice then the Crown Prince decided to follow as he powers guided her. Then was Cain who still reluctant decided to join hands after Rowan revealed his identity. Miya and Magus were not much different as a Duke's backing would help them in their goals highly. Samantha was the real issue. As for an Elf who had lost her faith in humans completely and was extremely protective pf herself and didn't wanted to trust Rowan even after his help in the dungeon. For her he just felt like any other human trying to abuse an Elf's powers. Rowan struggled hard and decided to use his Void Magic to create a hole in the Nature's Mana freeing a part of the Goddess of Life even if it was for a few moments. As Rowan wasn't skilled enough he wasn't able to do anymore, but meeting her Goddess was just enough for the Princess of Elves to decide trusting a human. As Rowan knew hiding things against Samantha would only backfire later, he decided to explain important part to tell her just enough that she could understand what Gods of the World had planned and decided to fully join hands with Rowan in stopping the Hero and the world's End. Even if it was a small victory, Rowan was making progress.
