Chapter 11: Finding Emma (Part 2)

Before the dust had fully settled, two guards leapt at him, claws bared, eyes red with bloodlust. Jonathan moved on instinct. One elbow to the first guard’s neck, a kick to the second’s chest. Bones snapped. Screams echoed.

More came.

Dozens of them, pouring from hidden corners like shadows, come alive. But Jonathan didn’t falter. His eyes glowed a violent red.

“You laid hands on my mate!” he roared. “I’ll make you all regret it!”

He fought with precision and brutality. A spinning back-kick sent one vampire flying into a wall. A sweeping strike of his arm cracked the skull of another. His body was a blur, fueled not by vengeance, but by something deeper love. Raw. Wild. Devastating.

Every blow he landed echoed with his rage. Every scream he heard was drowned beneath his growls.

“You think you can take her from me? You think I won't burn this whole place to the ground?!”
