Power is a heavy crown, and Titania—the superhuman Iron Queen of St. Petersburg—wears it with grace and fury.
But the girl behind the mask? She's a neurotic mess having the worst week of her life.
Roxanna Paraveesh Shapiro thought she could handle it. Moving to college. Losing the only friends she had. Balancing duty with the small hope of something resembling a normal life.
Then Dianna Rodgers happened—chaotic, magnetic, utterly infuriating. A punk-rock wildcard with no powers, no fear, and no clue what she’s about to fall into.
Faith, love, power, and pain collide in a world where miracles wear body armor, and salvation may come on high, but is delivered by the girl who refuses to let go.
When the world expects a weapon, what happens when you give them a heart instead?
I wrote the blasted thing so this review is incredibly biased but I think this is the story that means the most to me. I love these girls and I think that this story asks a ton of important questions. It's slow, it's sappy and for some reason I care more about this story than I have any right to. I promise you this, it will be finished. I don't know how long the journey will take or what twists and turns will come along the way, but let's walk together behind these women and let's find out.
