80. A Justified Existence, Kiyamura Technique

"Your Divine Sandstorm will only be considered complete when you can make the water of Konoha Falls flow backwards. That's at least a hundred times harder than the Sonic Blade, which only required slicing the waterfall. You better be mentally prepared!"

Hinata clearly had no time to argue with Naruto. Since that idiot had accidentally mastered the Sonic Blade, the difficulty of Divine Sandstorm for him had basically dropped dramatically.

As for the fire-style ultimate move she prepared for herself, it was the advanced version of the Kusanagi ancient martial arts—Orochi Pheasant.

This technique emphasized explosive force to the extreme. It condensed flames in the palm and released them all at once in a small area for devastating effect. These three ultimate moves were chosen after carefully analyzing each of their strengths.

Sasuke's Sharingan gave him an edge in reading minute enemy movements and attacks. His weaknesses were low chakra reserves, and the Sharingan couldn't see through or see far. Against most opponents, Chidori was sufficient. But when it came to enemies even Chidori couldn't handle—like Lee in the original—it usually meant his movements couldn't keep up.

For enemies whose movements he could see but not match physically, Sasuke needed a close-range area attack to cover for Chidori's shortcomings. Heavenly Amatsu Slash was designed exactly for this. As a wide-range, offensive-defensive technique, it neutralized threats within range regardless of their speed. As long as the enemy entered a certain radius, he could just blast them sky-high.

Against a close-combat speedster like Lee, once within range, Sasuke could trigger Heavenly Amatsu Slash, and the erupting lightning blades would catch even Lee off guard.

As for Naruto, there wasn't much to say. He lacked Hinata and Sasuke's perception or speed, but he had massive stamina and chakra. So the long-range Divine Sandstorm was perfect for him. In battle, he could summon a bunch of clones to pin down the enemy, then blast them from a distance. Even someone like Kimimaro would be lucky to come out of that alive.

Finally, Hinata herself—she had the Byakugan for long-range and x-ray vision, but couldn't read subtle movements like the Sharingan could, nor did she have Naruto's stamina. So she had to make every close encounter count. One good hit should be enough to end the fight.

Thus, a small-area, high-damage move like Orochi Pheasant was clearly the best choice for her.

"All right, any more questions?"

Hinata casually glanced at Sasuke and Naruto. She could tell they still had something to say.

"Um~~ tomorrow's the last day. Can I finally take this girl outfit off?"

Naruto, legs squeezed together and face flushed with embarrassment, asked with a stammer. He'd spent the past week practically in hiding, going out only at night to secretly stock up on instant noodles and milk.

"Heh~ sure~~ there'll be plenty more chances anyway."

Hinata smirked maliciously. That wasn't a threat—just a fact. As long as Naruto was the female lead, there'd be more cross-dressing in his future for sure.

Watching their interaction, Sasuke's brow furrowed slightly. He wasn't stupid. Ever since Naruto's partial transformation, Sasuke had sensed something unusual. Though Naruto wasn't from a prestigious clan like Hyuga or Uchiha, that terrifying red chakra still sent chills down Sasuke's spine.

Plus, Naruto had secretly mastered the Sonic Blade. That convinced Sasuke that Hinata must've been giving him extra help behind the scenes.

After all, Hinata had never taught Sasuke any exclusive techniques—let alone given him private lessons.

And lately, whether it was cross-dressing punishments or casual chats, Naruto and Hinata had definitely been interacting more.

This… really wasn't fair…

That thought made Sasuke subconsciously clench his fist.

A long scroll slowly unfurled before Hinata, the ink still fresh, proving it had just been printed. The content? None other than the full transcription of the Book of Seals.

Ever since the night she secretly photographed the Book of Seals with a portable camera, Hinata had forced herself to forget about it temporarily. The Third Hokage wasn't a fool—even a hint of suspicion could lead him to investigate thoroughly.

So she waited. Once Konoha's new publishing house was officially established under her proposal, she casually picked a normal time and had one of the factory's basic photo developers process the images. Then she printed them all out and made copies.

By shinobi standards, the Book of Seals was undoubtedly a treasure trove—a culmination of over a century of Konoha's best jutsu. If not for Naruto's protagonist halo, even someone like Hinata wouldn't have had access to it. And even if she did, deciphering the seals would've been nearly impossible.

But none of that mattered now. She had it. And she was confident she'd covered her tracks flawlessly.

"Even though I don't urgently need any of these jutsu, I'm more than happy to appreciate them."

Activating her Byakugan cautiously, Hinata opened her full visual field. She didn't want anyone walking in on her at a critical moment.

This time, with all the time in the world, she wasn't rushing through like before. The Book of Seals truly lived up to its name. It held the combined genius—and madness—of generations of shinobi. Some of the forbidden techniques made even Hinata's skin crawl. The creators of these jutsu had clearly crossed into insane territory.

There were forbidden arts using live humans as sacrifices, like the infamous Edo Tensei. Others transformed bodies into poison or insects for attacks.

At least those still used others as the sacrifice. But the Yamata-no-Jutsu actually required the user to be the sacrifice. This technique fused the caster with a summoned white snake, granting monstrous regeneration and agility—something far beyond human.

Unsurprisingly, the only one to successfully use this technique was Orochimaru, one of the legendary Sannin. Calling him inhuman wasn't an exaggeration. He was literally a giant snake in human skin!!

"Looks like… no matter the era, humanity's insanity doesn't change with technological advancement…"

Hinata murmured to herself, finally setting aside some of her disdain for the ninja of this world. It might be a backward, declining world, but judging by the terrifying jutsu here, these ninjas fought and killed with brutal resolve.

"Hmph~ but I won't lose. Hm?"

At that moment, her gaze swept across a seemingly inconspicuous entry. One particular jutsu caught her eye. It seemed to have been recorded recently, the handwriting oddly hesitant—like whoever wrote it wasn't sure it should be included.

"Kiyamura Technique? What's this?"

Hinata raised an eyebrow. Out of professional habit from her past life, even though she disliked Naruto, she considered herself well-versed in its lore. But this so-called Kiyamura Technique? No memory of it whatsoever.

"Definitely suspicious. Either it never appeared in the actual series, which means it was too weak… or too powerful and would've disrupted the plot."

She quickly analyzed the possibilities and came to that conclusion. Then she focused intently, curious to see what made this jutsu worthy of being in the Book of Seals.

But just then, Hinata's eyes narrowed. Through her Byakugan, she could clearly see Sasuke walking down the corridor—headed straight for her room.

? What's this idiot up to?

Frowning, Hinata swiftly packed away her copy of the Book of Seals and cautiously moved to the side of the wall. Sasuke, that broody overthinker, rarely approached people without a serious reason.

In the original story, he only sought out Kakashi to learn Chidori… Naruto, to fight… Orochimaru, first to learn forbidden jutsu, and later to kill him… then his brother, to also kill him…

Basically, if Sasuke came looking for you, it was either to learn something… or to kill you.

In that sense, Sakura was smart—always the one to approach Sasuke. Result? She got to marry him and have a daughter.

It might sound superstitious, but for Hinata, those weren't coincidences.

In other words: Sasuke was a highly goal-oriented, emotionally detached, and borderline selfish guy. If he came to you, he either wanted something… or was planning to cut you down.

Maybe that analysis was a bit one-sided, but it was enough to explain his current behavior.

Hinata never cared about people's inner struggles. She judged by actions. She didn't care if Sasuke's pain had twisted him or if he'd eventually become some unsung hero.

What mattered was—right now, he was a cold, selfish jerk.

And she had zero intention of becoming the whetstone for his growth.

"Hinata, are you in there?"

Sasuke stood outside her door, his voice tinged with hesitation. For him, this move wasn't impulsive. Ever since their paths crossed, he had expected this moment would come.

"..."

Hinata, expression cold, cautiously opened the door. She was well aware of the teacher-killing tradition in the Naruto world, but surely this emo bastard wouldn't go that far just yet?

"What's up, Sasuke? Trouble with Heavenly Amatsu Slash training?"

She stared directly into his eyes, not bothering to hide her activated Byakugan. You couldn't be too careful with this guy.

"No. I have a request."
