Using the two Magician Girls to destroy the last Scapegoats, Dark Magician Girl set a card and passed the turn to Hikaru.

"Now Hikaru doesn't even have Scapegoats left for Metamorphosis."

The Fusion Army suddenly got enthusiastic, as if they were the ones on the Duel Field.

"My turn, draw. Then, I activate Future Fusion's effect. I Fusion Summon, Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem!"

The colossal giant rose with a thunderous roar, its crimson eyes glaring at the Magician Girls.

"Here it comes! Hikaru's ace monster!"

"Ooh, so that's Professor Crowler's trump card, the ultimate weapon of Ancient Gears!"

"But, if it's just that, isn't it still not enough?" a student voiced doubt. "Even with 4400 ATK, once halved, it'll only be 2200, still not enough to beat the Magician Girls."

"Unless... Hikaru has something else up his sleeve?"

As if responding, Hikaru flipped a set card. "I activate the Continuous Trap, Ancient Gear Duel! As long as this card remains, my Ancient Gear Golem and monsters that mention it are unaffected by the opponent's monster effects!"

"Ah! With that effect, he can battle!!" Celina excitedly punched the air.

"I see, but don't underestimate me!" Dark Magician Girl flipped her own set card. "Quick-Play Spell, Magical Dimension!"

"Ah!" Chazz gasped.

"This is bad!" Bastion added.

"If I control a Spellcaster, I can Tribute a monster, Special Summon a Spellcaster from my hand, and then destroy an opponent's monster!"

"I Tribute Apple Magician Girl, Special Summon another Chocolate Magician Girl! Then destroy your Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem!"

The red Magician Girl dissolved into particles, replaced by a second blue-haired one.

At the same time, Dark Magician Girl raised her staff and launched a black sphere, blasting the giant apart.

"Uh, that's not something normal duel projections can do, right?" a student belatedly realized.

Hikaru shielded his eyes from the dust.

"Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem's effect activates, when it's destroyed, I can Special Summon 1 Ancient Gear Golem from my Graveyard, ignoring summoning conditions!"

From the wreckage, a Level 8, 3000 ATK Ancient Gear Golem emerged.

"See, Miss Celina? Hikaru's not invincible after all!"

"Yeah, he's no different from you! No need to follow him!"

"Our Polymerization Club has plenty of excellent teachers too!"

Annoyed, Celina shouted, "So noisy!"

Still, she knew Hikaru's situation was dire.

Many Fusion Army students eagerly nodded. This newcomer has potential!

"Even Ancient Gear Golem wouldn't be able to deal with them then!"

"It's not over!" Hikaru said firmly, showing a card. "I activate the Spell, Metamorphosis!"

"Metamorphosis? But he has no Scapegoats left!"

"Metamorphosis lets you Tribute a monster to Special Summon a Fusion Monster of the same Level from the Extra Deck!

Fusion holds infinite possibilities!"

Celina straightened up, eyes shining.

"I Tribute Ancient Gear Golem to Special Summon a Level 8 Fusion Monster!"

"Level 8?"

"What does Hikaru have?" Bastion wondered. "Cyber Twin Dragon? But that won't work..."

"Ah!" Jaden's eyes lit up. "I know!"

"One power guiding light, another guiding darkness!" Hikaru pointed skyward. "When light and darkness intertwine, Chaos descends!

Thunder boomed. Dark Magician Girl tapped her forehead with her staff: "Aiya... not good."

Amid lightning, a warrior clad in armor, sword and shield in hand, with a red-black cape, descended!

Even the crowd's attention shifted entirely to the powerful warrior, forgetting about cheering for Dark Magician Girl.

"And I'm not done! Activate Spell, Dragon's Mirror! I can banish Fusion Materials from my Graveyard to Fusion Summon a Dragon Fusion Monster!"

With a slash of his sword, a crack ripped open in the Duel Field, and all the Magician Girls were forcefully banished!

It was hard… really hard! If dragged out, his chances would've dropped!

Luckily, confirming her hand had no Kuribohs allowed him to go all-in.

Meanwhile, Celina shoved away a Fusion Army senior trying to block her and ran straight toward Hikaru.

Seeing this, Dark Magician Girl winked and called out.

"Everyone! Thank you for your support! Even though I lost, I really enjoyed dueling with all of you!

Since that's the case, the little girl should be free to make her own choice, right!?"

"Yeah!"

Students and even some teachers, finally snapping out of their amazement at the Master of Chaos, loudly agreed.

"We support you, Dark Magician Girl!"

Cheers flooded the arena. The Fusion Army students, seeing the situation, hastily fled to report back.

Finally, as the chaos settled, Dark Magician Girl walked over to Hikaru with a smile, waving to Jaden as well.

"Hello, Mr. Alchemist~" she said to Hikaru. "I brought you something you might be interested in, and a card too~"
