His Possessive Grip!

Rhea's POV.

"Ughhh!!!" I gasped awake in a dark warehouse, my eyes squinting as I tried to see a single thing but it was impossible.

"Aria? Aria?" I called out but she didn't respond. She was still weak. They must have carried me into this place after I passed out.

I struggled to stand up from where I was sitting but it was impossible too. I was tied to the chair and couldn't free myself. Whatever was in that vial was stronger than what I knew.

I was thinking of a way out when his voice echoed through the walls of the warehouse, "You are fierce this time. I love it."

My eyes snapped to the right and just then, I saw him. He turned on the flickering lights, a sneer on his face as he walked closer to me.

"You can't keep me here. I'm mated to the Blackthorns!" I let out. I was willing to do anything just to get myself out of this hellhole I ran into.

He laughed maniacally, "Do you think they'll be able to save you in this lifetime?"

My left brow raised in confusion. "What do you mean?"

He walked around me in circles, ignoring my question, "They marked you again didn't they?" He jeered, "Ignorant fools, always making the same mistake."

Just then, he halted before me, his smirk fading into a deep frown, "Hand over the moon stone." He urged but I couldn't respond.

I didn't understand what he was saying.

He leaned closer to me again, sniffling my hair gently, "You don't remember yet, so you? That's good. This time, I got you earlier." He growled against my skin.

"This time, I'm not letting you slip from my fingers," he adjusted my hair and was going to mark me after the Blackthorns.

I struggled but he held my neck in place. As his fangs grew longer than they were, a sudden shrill resonated from outside, catching his attention.

He turned to the guard behind him, "Check what's happening." He commanded.

As the guard was about to open the door, it slammed open with a thunderous crash. The Blackthorns took charge with pure rage.

Right before my eyes, Alpha Damon slammed into the man with full speed, his claws digging into his skin as he pinned him against the wall and slammed his fist against his face, stomach and head.

With Draven by the door, Dax rushed towards me, his claws breaking the ropes that held me bound. They had come to my rescue. They didn't leave me to die.

I stood up, my legs wobbling in fear.

Dax held my hand gently, "Can you walk?"

"I…" before I could respond, Alpha Damon had already walked closer and carried me into his arms in a bridal style.

My heart raced rapidly, my eyes bulging in shock as I struggled to climb down but he stopped me.

His eyes fixed into mine, his grip on me tighter and more possessive as he let out in a husky tone, "Stay still." Oddly, I obeyed, my eyes still on him.

Just as we were about to leave, the stranger who had saved me stated, "You should tell her the truth before it's too late. Remember, it always ends the same way." He laughed like a maniac, making me wonder what he meant again.

At that moment, Dax charged towards him. With a final punch, he let go. We left the warehouse, my eyes fixed on Damon as he carried me to the car.

Once we got to the car, he dropped me at the backseat and turned to his guards who had been waiting.

"Burn it down!" he commanded with unrelenting rage.

I swiftly held his hand, drawing his attention. "You can't… There are children in the pack. You could kill them all."

He switched his grip, holding my hand more possessively, a glint of fear passing through his eyes. I saw it, I was certain.

"You were nearly taken away from me again, I don't care if this whole place burns to ash…" he roared fiercely.

"Burn it down… now!"
