On the subway, Erina stared absentmindedly out the window. The memories of the future were deeply etched in her mind. Even recalling from the very first day, she could vividly remember everything that happened.

Because they were strangers, their first meeting wasn't pleasant; it practically started with a "quarrel." Later, to understand each other's social circles and to better care for their children, they embarked on the path of a fake marriage.

During that time, they encountered the Food Soul Competition. She was unfortunately caught in a bind and became pregnant with their third daughter, Mirai Nakiri. The judging duties were then handed over to Renz, who was a "fool" with plenty of skill but no cooking experience. Guided by her, he acted as a temporary judge while simultaneously learning how to cook. However, his talent was remarkable. In just six months, he had learned almost everything Erina could teach him.

The next six months were... spent entirely on taking care of her. Erina couldn't help but blush at this thought. It was all so embarrassing. Every day during the childbirth, she had to trouble Renz for help. She would also lose her temper over trivial matters, thinking that his kindness was solely for their child, not out of genuine affection for her. Later, the doctor explained it was due to postpartum depression. Renz, however, never got angry at her irritable moods and diligently continued to care for her.

The year after Mirai Nakiri was born, Renz confessed his feelings to her, suggesting they start as lovers. Hm. Agreeing to Renz wasn't because she liked him; it was just to repay him for a year of care, giving him a trial period. If it didn't work out, they'd break up, and then... then two years later, they had their fourth child.

Alright. She did like him a little.

Just a little bit. Really, just a tiny bit!

"Next stop!"

Erina maintained her elegant and composed demeanor, walking towards the Private Hachiko Academy. The next second, a call came from Hisako Arato.

"Erina-sama, where are you? Someone claiming to be your good friend is looking for you," Hisako Arato said helplessly. If he's a good friend, why doesn't he even have her phone number? Hisako Arato wouldn't have called the Erina-sama if the man hadn't seemed so anxious.

"Hm? What's his name?" Erina paused for a few seconds.

"He's Filipino, named Renz," Hisako Arato mused. "Do you want to hear his voice?"

"Yes!!! Put him on the phone!" Erina's calm expression instantly wavered. She and Renz had truly returned to the past together.

"My Erina-sama, where are you? Where did you run off to?" Renz's voice was still a bit breathless, as if he had been running for a long time. Erina stood rooted to the spot.

"Are you at Totsuki?" Erina asked.

"If I'm not at Totsuki, where else would I find you?" Renz countered. "Should I just run straight to your house?"

"Then do you know where I am?" Erina asked, looking at the sign for "Private Hachiko Academy" above her, a wry smile on her face.

"You contradictory woman, don't tell me you ran to my school to find me?" Renz had probably already guessed Erina's situation.

"You guessed right," Erina said.

"Idiot, idiot, idiot, is that how you talk to your wife?" Erina said, flustered and angry. "Do you want a kick?"

"Don't you know if kicking people hurts?" Renz continued. "I'm hanging up. I've memorized your number. I'll call you from my phone later." Renz returned the phone to Hisako Arato.

"Are you very close with the Erina-sama? How come I've never seen you before?" Hisako Arato was still a bit bewildered. She had been with Erina-sama since childhood, and this was her first time meeting Renz. But judging by his conversation with the Erina-sama, they seemed very close?

Renz glanced at Hisako Arato. "You ask if I'm close to Erina? That's a question I can't answer. You can ask Erina yourself later." He quickly left Erina's dormitory.

The subway would take two hours. Renz immediately hailed a taxi, which would save a lot of time. Although running back and forth was exhausting, thankfully... all of this was real.

At Private Hachiko Academy

An hour later, the gates of Private Hachiko Academy were bustling with people. This aristocratic school, once solely for cultivating young ladies, officially became co-educational in February 2016. The first batch of male students numbered only a dozen or so. They weren't all handsome; some even had rather plain appearances. Some, upon hearing the news of co-education, immediately changed their aspirations.

Kiyoshi Fujino took a deep breath. The entire school, with a dozen boys and over a thousand female students. What kind of happiness was this!

"Kiyoshi-kun, our happy high school life is about to begin now!" Gakuto said with a smile beside him. "I hear there's also a Philippines exchange student this time. I, Gakuto, the first strategist of Nerima, would like to have a friendly match with him."

"Ah, a Philippines exchange student?" Kiyoshi Fujino was momentarily surprised. This was his first time interacting with an exchange student.

"Yes, that's right, someone named Renz," Gakuto adjusted his glasses. "Tonight, our plan also involves bringing him along."

"Plan?" Kiyoshi Fujino didn't quite understand Gakuto's idea; it all seemed rather vague.

At the school gate, Erina noticed the conversation between the two boys. She asked, "Do you know Renz?"

"Renz? He's our classmate and roommate," Gakuto looked at the exceptionally beautiful blonde woman in surprise. He said, "What, you know him?"

"I'm his wi— girlfriend," Erina deliberated. Wouldn't saying 'wife' be too shocking? While some high school students in Japan did get married, they were a minority after all.

Gakuto and Kiyoshi Fujino simultaneously had a question mark in their minds. Are you serious? They were still discussing how to find girlfriends among so many female students, and their classmate and roommate, the exchange student, already had a girlfriend?

Gakuto, known as the first strategist of Nerima, looked at Erina's face, searching his memory. He seemed to have seen her on some cooking show, and then a muscular, scarred old man appeared in his mind.

"Excuse me! What is your relationship with Chief Director Nakiri?!" Gakuto asked, narrowing his eyes slightly.

"He's my grandfather." Erina wasn't surprised that he knew her grandfather; Senzaemon Nakiri himself was a very famous person. Excellent, she's someone we can't mess with. Gakuto prepared to make his escape.

As he was about to leave, Erina thought for a moment and said, "Renz will be studying at this school. You're his classmates, so please take good care of him. He's not very good at talking and might cause a lot of trouble."

"Take care of him? Leave it to us. We welcome friends from other countries," Gakuto grinned, giving a thumbs-up and laughing. Tonight, he'll experience some exotic customs.

"Thank you!" As Erina expressed her gratitude, a taxi pulled up. Renz stepped out.

"I said, can't you just wait for me to find you?" His clothes were wrinkled; he had left in too much of a hurry and looked a bit disheveled.

"I was just afraid you wouldn't find me," Erina said, a slight smile appearing on her face as she saw Renz.

Time seemed to freeze there.
