Synopsis

Meet Hugo González: Spanish teen with the social skills of a wet napkin and zero game with girls. When he scores a scholarship to America, he thinks he's about to become the main character of his own glow-up story but it turns out that sometimes reinventing yourself is way harder than TikTok made it look.

Now Hugo's stuck navigating American high school (which is basically Hunger Games with more homework), trying to figure out why everyone says "How are you?" but doesn't want an actual answer.

The Book of Hugo is the ultimate fish-out-of-water comedy about growing up, messing up, and figuring out that being yourself is the hardest plot twist of all. Enjoy.

I was completely captivated from beginning to end. The characters were rich and real, the pacing kept me turning pages late into the night, and the emotional depth of the story was incredibly moving. The author has a rare gift for painting vivid scenes with words and crafting dialogue that feels natural and authentic. What impressed me most was how effortlessly the narrative balanced heart, tension, and insight. It’s one of those books that lingers in your mind long after you’ve finished it. A truly unforgettable read I’ll definitely be recommending it to others.

Hello Dear great PresCI stumbled upon Storio (storioai dot com) yesterday — really interesting. They provide AI tools for fast fiction writing and turning chapters into playable scenes. I’m testing it with some of my older stories right now

I'm giving it a 5 because it is my story. And I wanted to come up with something new which I believe is amazing. I always laugh when writing the Book of Hugo because of the humor in it. I believe I'm the number one fan of this book. I wish you can enjoy reading this book as half as I enjoy writing it.. You won't be disappointed.
