King Constantine Ivanov—cold, detached, but a strong ruler of his kingdom smack in the North Sea—and Ivana, the daughter of an old servant of the royal family, had been at odds since her childhood days. After a terrible misunderstanding of a crime, she runs out of Alania. The process leaves her family behind to answer for the crime that she had been blamed for.



She joins a group in Russia, which ends up having the end goal of destroying the monarchy—made up of old Alania citizens. She returns after 10 years with one goal in mind: to destroy King Constantine. However, her family is not so glad to see her—if anything, they disown her.



She returns to King Constantine under a new name, and her strong ideals don’t just end up warming his bed but his heart. She, however, soon comes to find out that being a freedom fighter didn’t exactly mean she was fighting for the right cause, as she soon realizes that the group was being funded by some external forces that had been trying to take over Alania and plunge it into political unrest.



Now, she must work with the King to set things straight—or does he accept her after finding out that she was nothing but a spy?
