Aegwynn

A few minutes ago, the sky outside Karazhan changed completely. The horizon was covered with dark clouds, as if a storm was about to hit, but this storm was not a dead thing from nature. Oh no, this was a living storm. Every molecule that made up the storm was a giant dragon, a creature a mortal would rarely see in his lifetime, let alone tens of thousands of them.

The huge wings flapped powerfully, and every flap of the wings seemed to make the entire sky tremble, like a very large, very angry drum. The low roars that the giant dragons inadvertently let out during their natural breathing, with various auras such as fire, and the faint sounds of wind and thunder, made their power even more extraordinary. They were basically flying, fire-breathing, lightning-summoning tanks. The vast majority of dragons were red, with very small amounts of green and bronze, probably because the other colors were still trying to figure out how to get their coffee. They increased their speed to the extreme; it was completely the rhythm of a swooping dragon washing the ground with its breath, turning the landscape into a very hot, very charred mess.

On a mountain not far from Karazhan, a woman with gorgeous red horns walked forward, her long red hair fluttering in the wind as she walked firmly. She was wearing a red bikini-style armor with gold edges, looking less like a warrior and more like a very fierce, very fashionable supermodel. Her exposed skin had the healthiest wheat color, probably from all the sunbathing she did while waiting for the world to end. She walked proudly towards a mysterious robed figure standing on the top of the mountain, looking like she was about to demand an explanation.

"Hey, Aegwynn," Alexstrasza drawled, her voice a mix of exasperation and concern, "are you sure your plan can really work? Almost all the dragons that can be summoned from the entire planet Azeroth are here. I don't want the dragon lineage to become extinct. The incidents of the blue dragon and the black dragon have hurt me enough. My therapist bills are through the roof!"

The mysterious person was none other than Aegwynn, the former guardian of Azeroth, and Medivh's mother. She gently pulled down her hood, revealing a beautiful face that showed no signs of aging, probably thanks to a very good anti-wrinkle cream. "Old friend," she said, a serene smile on her face, "we have been protecting this world together for hundreds of years. I think we have the same attitude towards demons, don't we, Alexstrasza? Namely, they're annoying and need to be squashed."

If Duke were here, he would definitely exclaim that "history" is completely unreliable. Aegwynn should have been severely injured by Sargeras, but she had a hand because she received the warning signal in advance, probably from a very reliable, very gossipy pigeon. Although he was defeated, he was not seriously injured as in "history" and had to hide away to recuperate. The injuries were only minor, which gave her enough energy to gather a group of old friends to fight Sargeras together, like a very powerful, very ancient girl gang.

Ten thousand years ago, the five guardian dragons gathered their strength to create the Dragon Soul to teach the invading demons a lesson, a very painful, very fiery lesson. Ten thousand years later, even though the times have changed, the black dragon king Neltharion betrayed (a real jerk, that one), the blue dragons were almost exterminated (a very sad story), the green dragons' Emerald Dream was corrupted (now with more nightmares!), and the bronze dragon king Nozdormu disappeared (probably just got lost in time). Alexstrasza, the only remaining active red dragon queen, still stood up and called on all dragons to participate in the siege of Karazhan, because apparently, she was the only one who still answered her phone.

In response to Aegwynn's answer, the Red Dragon Queen raised a new question, her brow furrowed. "Yes, we can't let Sargeras do whatever he wants. But if Sargeras really has complete control over Medivh's soul and has mastered all the power of Karazhan, we will only die if we attack him forcefully. And I have a very busy schedule next week."

In response to the Red Dragon Queen's worries, Aegwynn smiled gently, a knowing glint in her eye. "Originally, I had the same worries as you. But it seems that we have received unexpected reinforcements. A little guy disrupted Sargeras's perception and communication with special means. He gave me the opportunity to control part of Karazhan's defense forces. He's basically a magical hacker."

"Part?" Alexstrasza asked, her eyes narrowing. "Just part?"

"That's right, the most critical anti-aircraft firepower will not be activated. He basically turned off the big guns."

"Okay, you have convinced me," Alexstrasza sighed, a hint of resignation in her voice. "If the red dragon clan is defeated this time, I will definitely tear you apart first, Aegwynn. Just so you know." After saying that, the Red Dragon Queen left without looking back, probably already planning her vengeance.

"Alas, Alexstrasza, your temper is still as hot as ever," Aegwynn muttered, a slight smile playing on her lips. As the Red Dragon Queen left, a graceful female figure slowly appeared not far from Aegwynn. The blue hair, long ears, moon-white robe, and dignified and steady temperament all spoke of the extraordinaryness of this mysterious night elf. A huge white tiger, looking very majestic and slightly bored, accompanied this beautiful night elf dressed as a priest.

Shadowmeld! One of the signature racial skills of the night elves, allowing them to essentially disappear into thin air, presumably for dramatic entrances. The power of this priestess was so great that she even hid it from the Red Dragon Queen. No, not necessarily hid it from her; perhaps Alexstrasza discovered it but was too lazy to point it out. Dragons are powerful, but also incredibly arrogant. There are many things that the dragon race cannot cooperate with other races unless it is absolutely necessary. So the dragon race and Aegwynn are one thing, and Aegwynn finding other helpers is another. They were basically too proud to play well with others.

Aegwynn sighed again: "Thank you for your help, Tyrande."

The priestess standing beside the white tiger smiled gently, revealing a beautiful smile that even the stars were eclipsed by it: "I am only here to help as a person. It has nothing to do with the night elves. My people are busy with other things, like arguing about tree sap."

"Well, well, it's a start at least," Aegwynn said, trying to be optimistic.

The priestess interrupted Aegwynn, her voice firm: "Without a beginning, there is no end. Do you want me to repeat it again? Because I can. All day."

"No need, get to work," Aegwynn said quickly, clearly not in the mood for philosophical debates.

As the priestess chanted, a mysterious force began to connect the heaven and earth. The sky, which was still daytime a moment ago, suddenly turned dark, like someone had flipped a very large, very cosmic light switch. The clouds disappeared. The sun disappeared. Stretching across the entire Karazhan was the brilliant starry sky, looking like a very expensive, very dramatic planetarium show.

In the beautiful starry sky, in a constellation that was already on the way to destruction and burning out, a huge star was torn into pieces, disintegrating into countless glows that scattered in the dark sky. However, under the guidance of Elune's divine power, dozens of huge star fragments began to move towards the planet Azeroth at a high speed, looking like very angry, very fiery cosmic bowling balls. The blazing light cut through the sky, violently tearing through the atmosphere and falling straight towards Karazhan, presumably with a very loud whoosh.

The falling of stars was controlled. Under the control power unimaginable to mortals, and with a ferocity enough to destroy the world, huge meteorite fragments slammed into Karazhan's magic shield. The powerful magic shield that could withstand the siege of tens of thousands of mortal warriors for months was defeated by this earth-shattering blow and lasted for less than one tenth of a second. The shield was easily blasted like a soap bubble, leaving a very large, very embarrassing hole.

The oblique falling trajectory, strong wind pressure, and shrill whistling sound were all announcing the arrival of destruction to the owner of Karazhan, like a very loud, very angry, very destructive doorbell.

"Bastard, who is that?!" It was not until this moment that Sargeras woke up as if from a dream, his eyes wide with disbelief, and an angry roar was heard in the Mage Tower, probably making the very expensive chandeliers rattle. Unfortunately, it's too late.

The first meteorite fragment that fell was as big as a carriage. Under the acceleration of gravity, the perfect combination of speed and gravity caused the entire Karazhan main gate, which was highly enchanted and solidified, and even the siege cone could not shake it in the slightest, to collapse into powder along with the two-story building in an instant... It was basically a very large, very destructive, very effective battering ram.

The second meteorite fragment fell, and a secondary tower guarding the main tower of Karazhan was like a sand castle washed down by the waves. It collapsed into powder in a moment and dissipated in the wind in the direction from which the meteorite came, leaving only a faint smell of dust and regret.

The third, the fourth... dozens of meteorite fragments fell down with a loud bang, turning Karazhan into a very expensive, very explosive construction site. Even someone as powerful as Sargeras could not help but get flustered under such an attack. He was basically having a very bad day. This is the signature move of a famous priest: Falling Stars! And it was very, very effective.
