On a Remote Island Shore...
Two ships were already docked.
One was the Moby Dick, flagship of the Whitebeard Pirates.
The other?
It was Kairos Flint's legendary vessel—the Mythic Sky.
After just two fierce clashes with Whitebeard, it was clear the Moby Dick couldn't withstand the pressure. The battle had to be paused, and both sides agreed—without saying a word—to continue the fight on a nearby island.
As for a ceasefire?
That was never on the table.
Neither Kairos Flint nor Whitebeard were the kind of men to back down. Especially not now.
Whitebeard's casual dismissal of the situation was, to Kairos, an outright insult. After telling him—right to his face—that he wanted to take Kairos as his "son" without even an apology?
Forgiveness?
Not a chance.
What did Whitebeard think—that he was entitled to call himself his father-in-law?
Ridiculous.
Apologize, or keep fighting. There was no third option.
Onboard the Moby Dick…
"Why did it have to come to this?" Marco muttered, rubbing his temples, visibly distressed.
No one was more troubled by this turn of events than him.
He had warned his father multiple times. Over and over.
But Whitebeard never listened.
Now it had spiraled into a full-blown battle between titans.
And Marco could do nothing but watch.
He wasn't the only one struggling with the situation. The other division captains felt the same. They all knew what it meant when two Sea Emperors clashed.
Sure, Whitebeard had faced Kaido many times before—but those were different.
Kaido was a warmonger, always looking for trouble. Fighting him was a necessary evil to protect their territory as one of the Four Emperors.
But Kairos Flint? He wasn't here for land, or power.
He had only come seeking an explanation.
And yet, here they were.
Why?
Because Whitebeard, stuck in his old ways, said something he shouldn't have. Just one sentence—one careless phrase—was all it took to spark this war.
The worst part?
As Whitebeard's sons, they knew exactly how fragile their father's body had become.
Years of battling at sea had left internal injuries untreated. Wounds that had compounded over time.
Whitebeard, though a few years younger than Garp, had aged far worse.
Now, he needed regular IVs just to keep going.
If Garp was still strong, it was thanks to the Navy's top-tier medical support—something Whitebeard never had.
Aboard the Mythic Sky…
"Looks like another round's about to start…" Nami sighed, eyes scanning the shoreline.

"It's such a shame. If only I could be the one to fight Whitebeard instead of Kairos," said Vivi, her eyes burning with battle-lust.
"This is the strongest man in the world," Uta added. "But after today's fight… that title might just belong to someone else."
Robin smiled softly. "Watch closely. It's about to begin."
Even Baby-5 joined them, strolling over with drinks in hand. "Miss Nami, Miss Vivi, Miss Uta, Miss Robin… here's some juice."
She handed each one a glass with a warm grin.
Back on the Island…
Kairos Flint and Whitebeard stood face to face, tension crackling in the air.
"Gu la la la!" Whitebeard roared, the earth trembling under his feet. "Come on, kid! Show me what you've got!"
His laughter echoed like thunder, filled with excitement.
It had been too long since he faced a challenger this promising.
In his eyes, Kairos was exceptional—so exceptional that he had even wanted to welcome him as a son.
But Kairos wouldn't accept it. No matter how many others gave Whitebeard face, Kairos refused.
What was he supposed to do? Say, "Kid, give Whitebeard some face—be my son"? That was absurd.
Now, Kairos stood before him, his own aura blazing with battle intent.
A slash came screaming out from Kairos's sword—fierce as lightning, sharp as judgment.
It crackled with Armament Haki, laced with Overlord's Haki, exploding with devastating power.
Whitebeard reacted instantly.
Though older and weaker than in his prime, he was far from fragile. With lightning-fast reflexes, he raised Cong Yunqie, his massive bisento, to meet the strike.
It too was wrapped in Overlord's Haki.
BOOM!!!
Their weapons collided with apocalyptic force.
The shockwave sent sand, rocks, and even entire trees flying. The ground shuddered beneath them, the very air tearing apart from the clash.
"Gu la la la!!!" Whitebeard roared through the storm. "Don't hold back, boy! Show me everything you've got! Let's see how powerful the next generation truly is!"
He knew Kairos hadn't gone all out yet.
And he didn't want any mercy. Whitebeard was no relic to be pitied.
He was still Whitebeard.
Still the strongest man in the world—at least for now.
