Chapter 56: View Items

Gu Ning arrived at the core cabin and glanced around. Seeing that Darkmoon wasn't inside, he let out a sigh of relief. If Darkmoon had been here, it would've been really tricky.

Gotta win her over quickly, or things will get troublesome!

Gu Ning tossed Windsor onto the bed, admiring her delicate beauty.

Windsor, feeling shy, looked at Gu Ning with a mix of embarrassment and annoyance. "What are you doing?"

Of course, Windsor knew exactly what Gu Ning had in mind. She just didn't know how to say it out loud.

Gu Ning gave a cheeky grin and skillfully removed Windsor's gear.

Then, he kissed her soft red lips and began his playful exploration.

Windsor gradually got swept up in the moment and started to respond.

Back and forth they went, full of passion. In the end, Gu Ning's skill won out, leaving Windsor completely overwhelmed, begging for mercy!

Seeing Windsor surrender, Gu Ning stopped, feeling proud and satisfied.

After their long battle, both of them felt exhausted.

"We didn't rest all night. Aren't you tired?" Windsor lay in Gu Ning's arms, saying, "And you've still got so much strength!"

Gu Ning smiled, gently stroking her hair. "You were just too charming just now, and I had so much energy this morning—I couldn't help it!"

"Hmph!" Windsor gave a soft snort, though it was clear she was happy with the compliment.

"Alright, let's get up! Darkmoon will be back soon!" Windsor said.

Gu Ning didn't say anything more. He didn't plan to linger. He went to the bathroom to wash up, then headed out.

But as he stepped out of the core cabin, he found Darkmoon standing right at the door.

Uh...

Their eyes met, and Gu Ning felt a little awkward.

Trying to stay calm, he said, "Darkmoon, after breakfast I'll have the tower ship dive. You and Windsor can organize the usual hunt."

Darkmoon felt a bit uneasy too, but she kept her usual cold expression and replied, "Understood, Lord."

Seeing her act like this, Gu Ning had an idea. He waved her over, and as she came closer, looking a little puzzled—

Gu Ning suddenly kissed her on the cheek and grinned. "From now on, just call me Ning like Windsor does! No need for 'Lord'—too formal."

With that, he left to handle the day's plans.

Darkmoon froze for a moment, caught off guard by the kiss. By the time she came to her senses, Gu Ning was already walking away.

Her fair cheeks turned bright red, feeling hot! After a moment, she finally went into the room.

Seeing Windsor, now dressed and lying on the bed with a playful smile, Darkmoon felt even more embarrassed.

When Gu Ning got to the deck, it felt like stepping into an oven—the heat was unbearable!

He called out to the people still fishing along the gallery. "No more fishing today. Go back to your rooms!"

Everyone was relieved to hear that. The heat was too much—they felt like they'd faint if they stayed out any longer.

"But leave a few people. Help me bring water from outside to my room. I'm going to keep making ice!"

Gu Ning gave the orders, then made a few more wooden buckets and a big wooden basin for the helpers.

After that, Gu Ning found Huohuo, carried her back to the core cabin.

He ignored Windsor and Darkmoon's playful chatter, collected yesterday's coins from the money tree, and opened the tech panel to upgrade.

The next ship upgrade needed 20,000 white stones—not something he could do anytime soon. Better to develop some tech first.

He tried to unlock Single-Propeller Power Tech, but it still showed unmet requirements.

Looked like that would have to wait for stage three. For now, he focused on upgrading Multi-Oar Tech.

From level 3 to 4 cost 4,000 white stones. Without hesitation, Gu Ning upgraded.

Faster power meant faster travel—getting to his destination and setting up his territory was top priority.

Next, he opened the diving tech. Upgrading from level 2 to 3 needed 6,000 white stones.

Thanks to last night's sales, he had enough. After thinking it over, he upgraded.

Higher diving tech meant longer hunts—crew could level up faster and earn more white stones.

After these upgrades, Gu Ning's white stones were almost gone—just over 1,000 left.

At that moment, Jasmine came in. "Lord, breakfast is ready!"

Time to eat!

Gu Ning sat down to eat. Between bites, he used seawater brought by servants to make ice again.

After breakfast, Gu Ning ordered the ship to dive and started the day's hunt.

Windsor and Darkmoon led the hunt as usual, while Gu Ning stayed inside making ice.

When his magic ran out, he didn't head for the arena right away. Instead, he checked the three items Windsor had fished up with resources today.

The first was a blueprint.

Blue Vine Armor Blueprint (Green): After learning it, a blacksmith can craft Blue Vine Armor to boost your army's combat power!

Gu Ning raised a brow. Not bad!

He stored it away for future use—no point now without a blacksmith.

Next was a bag.

Spirit Rice Seeds (Green): Plant to harvest spirit rice, which restores energy well.

A food source—not a lot, but enough for starting his territory.

The last item was another blueprint.

Spirit View:

Lounge Chair Blueprint (White): A comfy chair to help you relax and enjoy life.

Build cost: Wood *4, Nails *10

Gu Ning felt disappointed—not very useful.

He built it anyway—let Windsor and Darkmoon use it later!

After all that, he went back to making ice. When his magic ran out again, he entered the arena.

After battling all night yesterday, Gu Ning had broken into the top 10,000. But he couldn't stop now—others were racking up points like crazy, and if he didn't keep at it, he'd get pushed out fast.

While Gu Ning was busy with ice and battles, Windsor and Darkmoon ran into a bit of trouble on their hunt!
