Chapter 65 – Loot of the Duke
The treasure chest cracked open with a thundering boom, its silver-gold frame splintering into arcs of light. Malik stood at its center, bathed in the luminous aura that surged upward like a divine pillar.
The moment his hand touched the treasure's glow, the system went berserk.

Malik's breath hitched.
The orb pulsed in his hand, silver and crimson veins twisting beneath its smooth shell like a living heart.
"A Tier 1 Ascension Orb..."
He didn't hesitate.

"Yes."
The orb dissolved into radiant mist, washing over him like a tidal wave. It circled around him, then exploded outward—targeting his gear.

The silver plating shimmered, forging itself anew. Edges curved with sleek menace, its weight lighter, its defense higher. Crimson lines etched across the chestplate, forming a snarling beast sigil.

Dark leather morphed into plated hide, with faint runes pulsing along the thighs. It buzzed with the primal hunger of the Goremaw.

The belt's skull centerpiece roared, briefly exuding black smoke. The sockets glowed red.

The Feral boots glinted, becoming plated with midnight steel, sharp edges curling like talons.

Malik's eyes sparkled. "Insane..." He quickly Equip it and Malik aura grew insanely wide. Then he grabbed the war hammer on the floor and placed thr enhancement orb on it.
But when he held up the massive war hammer—crackling with dormant lightning—and tried to use the orb's final essence, a different message blinked.

"Huh?"
He narrowed his gaze at the hammer. The head was covered in runes that seemed... sealed. He swung it again, but it resisted full syncing.
"So this... isn't a normal weapon. I'll ask around for it."
He placed it back into his inventory for now.
Then his eyes darted to the second item.

A wild grin tore across Malik's face.
"Yes."
The book dissolved into crimson particles that surged into his legs.
> [Vicious Trampling – S-Rank (Unlocked)] Description: A destructive footwork technique designed to crush, maim, and break through defensive lines. Each stomp deals AoE damage in a 3-meter radius. Lasts for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 45 seconds.
"Now this... is my kind of skill." Malik grinned loudly.. Every of his skills has been forged into the Martial class. The fist master, iron fist, iron fang kick, iron mountain stance, kick master.. All of it are what made up the martial class and they've all turned to active skill that he can use without restrictions.
The skills he has left is the Infernal Rending Strike, the Infernal Slash which required blade type weapon, the berserk skill and now he has a skill that he can use his leg to unleash.
"This is just too crazy."
Makik then turn his attention to the cloak. He unfurled it—a sleek, black-silver material that shimmered like moonlight on oil. The moment he fastened it around his shoulders, he felt his presence vanish.

Malik exhaled. "This is exactly what I needed right now, No one will see me coming anymore."
He equipped the cloak which covered all the equipments in his body and also his face, his ID and levels. The only thing one could see is his HP bar. After checking himself out for a while, he pulled the skull belt and donned it on the cloak and now Malik looks more like a Top Tier martial arts genius. All his equipments was shining black and silver but to the outside world, they all looked ordinary.
He then turned to the three glowing crystals and then the ring on his hand started dancing.

He raised the old, strange ring on his finger—the one found in the Feral Dungeon.
"Yes."
The crystals fused into the ring like drops of ink into water. The ring pulsed... and something awoke.

"Currently I'm in Level 37..So I can summon a Level 47 monster to fight for me.. This is too OP." The smile on his face widened as he turbed to the monster core.
"Though it's at the Silver rank.
The grade is far much more than those two I swallowed. I can't take this or else I'll face the repercussions. I guess I'll have to keep it for now." Malik said when he stored the monster core into his storage space.
He then turned his gaze to the Town Emblem.

"Yes," Malik said without pause.
He slammed the emblem into the dirt beside him.
The earth shook. A pillar of light erupted from Green Leaf Town's direction.

System: Rewarding +1000 merit points. +50 stat points +2 mana crystals +10000 Green Leaf Town reputation and a System Announcement.
"2 mana crystals.. I still need 8 more." Malik sighed when he made his way out of the ruins. He was still walking when his silhouette suddenly flashed and he was outside of the toen along with many other players.
System Notification: The Duke of Green Leaf Town has upgraded the Town to an intermediate Tier. The Town is now going on construction which will take 6 hours. Players are to wait outside.
"Oh.. That's it.. Seems it's already sunday morning. I need to log out now or I won't meet up with Carita." Malik said when he pressed the log out button as his silhouette vanished alongside many others but all this silhouette are not having same thoughts as Malik.
Something large is happening in God's Realm Online and they need to report to their upperclassmen. Once again God's Realm was plunged into chaos.
