Then came the 32nd minute.
Tottenham's most dangerous attack of the half unfolded.
Bale once again unleashed his devastating sprint—leaving Klein far behind!
Palace had just lost the ball in their own half. They didn't even have time to organize a proper defensive shape.
Pavlyuchenko raised his hands in the middle, calling for a cross.
The home crowd was in frenzy. This was it!
But then… someone appeared.
Charging across the field with impossible pace.
The crowd gasped—it was Kai.
The teenage captain sprinted after Bale, despite being four or five strides behind.
"What is he doing?" muttered a few confused fans. "That's Bale. He can't be caught."
But what started as a murmur quickly turned to a deafening uproar.
Kai was gaining on Bale.
Coach Boas was frozen on the touchline.
Coach Holloway's scalp tingled.
The chase was on. Under the floodlights of White Hart Lane, two players sprinted—one chasing, the other fleeing.
And then—Kai caught up.
With a clean slide, he swept the ball out of bounds.
The stadium exploded.
Even the display in Kai's mind updated:

Palace fans went wild. Bale, the man who had humiliated Maicon, had been caught—and beaten—by a 16-year-old midfielder.
The Welshman stood there, stunned.
The crowd had witnessed the impossible.
And the one responsible… was the boy in the #10 shirt—Kai.
Play resumed, but Spurs couldn't shake the shock. Van der Vaart lost the ball while trying to shield it. Palace regained possession.
Boas clenched his fist in frustration.
"Why is it always him?" he muttered, eyes fixed on Kai.
"A genius delivers brilliance now and then. But this kid—he creates miracles every time."
Now back in position, Kai resumed his role in midfield.
Spurs fans stood up once more. They hadn't forgotten that clash.
And just as they settled, Bale pressed Kai again, eager for revenge.
But Kai stayed composed. With Vaughan and Zaha making their runs, Kai saw it—a golden path in front of him.
He launched a long pass—even under Bale's pressure.
It wasn't intercepted.
Vaughan brought the ball down but lost it to Tottenham's center-back.
The ball was cleared… but fate had one more twist.
Both Kai and Bale sprinted toward the loose ball.
Same distance. Equal start.
Two seconds later—Kai pulled ahead.

He was gone—leaving Bale in disbelief.
Spurs defenders tried to mark Zaha and Vaughan tightly.
But Kai didn't pass.
He controlled the ball, glanced at the goal—and saw it:
A golden line straight to the net.
He shot.
A thunderous strike. The ball curled viciously, skimming the post—and slammed into the net!
2–0!
The Palace end erupted.
White Hart Lane? In complete shock.
The dagger was real. One strike to kill.
And Kai delivered it.
