Conversation with The Forgotten One

"Pathetic," The Forgotten One murmurs. He had taken a short nap not long ago, and when he woke up, he lost a powerful item that was ready to be used alongside another: Wirt's leg, a key object that, together with Wirt's other leg, would be enough to open a portal to another world.

However, at this moment, Kel'thuzad can wait no longer, quickly using his power to take control of Hiyama's body by force.

The Forgotten One, who was watching Hiyama maliciously, quickly extends his tentacles, his intentions obvious: to devour Hiyama in order to absorb his memories and discover where Wirt's leg is.

His pulsating purple tentacles rush toward Hiyama, who will soon be pierced by them and have his life taken. However, before this happens, Kel'thuzad springs into action.

Hiyama, kneeling and staring at the tentacles, suddenly changes his expression. His empty, mad eyes change, and it almost seems as if they are replaced by two blue flames.

"Magic Shield," Kel'thuzad, in Hiyama's body, murmurs. The powerful magic in his body mobilizes with unparalleled skill, and his body is quickly covered by a kind of blue bubble that acts as a shield against the tentacles of The Forgotten One.

*Crash*

*Crash*

The tentacles collide with the shield, strong gusts of wind spread throughout the room, Deathbringer not far away moves his pupils, his gaze focused on Hiyama's back.

"Has he returned?" he wonders, in his mind, small memories pass, memories that the Lich King once existed, and his confidant, one of the most powerful Undead.

Unconsciously, joy massages Deathbringer's brain for a few moments.

Kel'thuzad moves his right hand, and with a thought from him, the blue magic bubble covering him begins to spread and cover the girls' bodies.

*Touch*

Evileye, Lakyus, Gagaran, Tia, and Tina had completely collapsed, their eyes white and almost devoid of life, their bodies in constant collapse as their minds struggled to put everything in order.

Their consciousnesses were under all kinds of stimuli, but one in particular was more visible: an illusion, a fantasy, a lie carved into their minds as reality.

An endless void, bodies piled up like bricks in a house on the streets, faceless faces, simply death, and they, each one, alone in a black and white world, walking, finding pain at every corner, finding the worst tortures at every step.

Biblical hell would have seemed like a consolation to them at that moment, biblical hell might have been a better place to be, and when their souls were about to be shattered into tiny pieces that would then be devoured by The Forgotten One, a warm embrace enveloped them.

Their bodies, hurt to the point where their bones ached with the simple act of breathing, for some strange reason, felt warm, at peace, and a gentle breeze blew across their faces.

Evileye blinks slightly, her mind returning to its usual calm, and she observes, with a weary spirit, how she is surrounded by a strange magical blue bubble. "Is this a spell from Sir Hiyama?" she thinks unconsciously.

She smiles slightly as she blinks once, then her mind gives way and she falls unconscious. The other Blue Roses girls have almost the same reactions.

Once his attack was stopped, The Forgotten One retracts his tentacles to observe Hiyama again, his most visible eye showing genuine surprise before a voice emerges from him, "You are not the human you were before."

Kel'thuzad clicks his tongue, observing his body, his hands, his skin, his warmth, his very existence. "It's been a while since I was ALIVE," he smiles, a moment later patting his chest before sighing.

"This feeling is strange, but it's okay, this will work for me, hahaha," Kel'thuzad jokes to himself before moving his left hand to cast a spell similar to the one he just used.

A small bubble shoots out from the tip of his left hand, flying at high speed toward Deathbringer. As it travels, it grows larger and larger, quickly reaching the orc, covering him and freeing him from his bonds.

"Hahaha, I'm back!!!... again..." Deathbringer smiles like a happy child before flexing his muscles and cracking his neck. His smile soon turns to a serious expression as he looks at Hiyama. "Is it really Sir Kel'thuzad? Or perhaps it is King Arthas?" he wonders.

However, despite his doubts, Deathbringer shakes his head, dismissing those thoughts before kneeling on one knee in front of Hiyama, "You have returned, my lord..."

Kel'thuzad in Hiyama's body, ignores the orc's actions and focuses his gaze on The Forgotten One.

He had heard of this creature, Arthas had told him, The Forgotten One, a strange species that even Anub'arak feared, yet he had never seen one.

Now, looking at The Forgotten One, Kel'thuzad doesn't know what to think exactly.

"My name is Kel'thuzad. I was once one of the most powerful in the world. May I know your name?" Kel'thuzad introduces himself, showing some respect for The Forgotten One.

In fact, the name "The Forgotten One" is a general name given to strange creatures, creatures that were described by Anub'arak when he was still alive.

The Forgotten One's tentacles move around him for a moment, the irises in his four eyes shining brightly, then a moment later the glow in those irises dims.

"Are you one of the servants of the former Lich King?" The Forgotten One murmurs to himself, pausing before continuing, "My name is C'thun, an ancient god created by Sargeras, although I believe you should already know this."

Kel'thuzad observes the one who calls himself C'thun for a moment, the faint flames in his eyes revealing his current thoughts. "You are not C'thun," he wanted to say, but he remains silent.

"C'thun? Then what are you doing here?" Kel'thuzad asks, genuinely curious. Although his expression suggests he does not believe the creature's words, he still wants to know what The Forgotten One is doing here.

"..."

The creature remains silent, seemingly analyzing the situation. The room trembles slightly as the strange magic in its body stirs. This should be enough to alert Kel'thuzad, but he doesn't even move a finger.

A moment later, a strange statue emerges from the ground in front of The Forgotten One.

"This is what brought me here, or at least I think that's what happened," the creature says, pointing with a tentacle at the statue. "It is the statue of Wirt, a simple human, but his soul represents the connection between two worlds," the creature observes Kel'thuzad with obvious intent.

"Wirt's leg holds half of this human's soul, and Wirt's other leg holds the other half. Once they are joined, we will be able to open a portal to a new world," concludes The Forgotten One.

"Hmph..." Kel'thuzad lets out a slight snort. In fact, what the creature says may be true, but, Why?

His hands move slightly to caress his staff. He knows that creatures like The Forgotten One feed on the souls of the living, using the energy of the souls of the living to become more powerful.

Unlike Hiyama or the girls of Blue Roses, for an old wizard like him, The Forgotten One is a powerful enemy, but that's all, he's not someone he's particularly afraid of.

"Why do you want to open a portal to another world?" Kel'thuzad asks. After all, even though he is not afraid of The Forgotten One, that does not mean that this creature cannot become so powerful that it could surpass his own power.

"Hmph," the creature makes a slight noise as its tentacles move around him like little dancing things. A kind of magic moves through the great hall, the ancient magic of The Forgotten One slowly moving toward Kel'thuzad.

Deathbringer receives a mental command, the command of his former master whom he had not seen in quite some time, the command of Kel'thuzad. "Hehehe," an orcish laugh escapes his lips as he activates his ability "Blood Fire," strengthening himself and doubling his stats before charging toward The Forgotten One.

The orc's footsteps echo in the great hall, his steel boots clanging against the floor, his sharp axe now glowing with a faint red hue. "The ground will be red with your blood!!!" he shouts as he raises his sword.

"Hmph," however, The Forgotten One simply narrows its four eyes, his tentacles growing at great speed and quickly attacking the orc.

*Thud*

*Thud*

Deathbringer wielded his axe with great skill, cutting off two of the creature's tentacles. At the same time, the viscous purple blood that flowed from those tentacles slightly strengthened Deathbringer.

"Where do you plan to go?" The Forgotten One murmurs, one of his eyes focused on Kel'thuzad. The human was flying away, taking the girls with him.

One of his tentacles quickly shot out like a bullet, heading at great speed toward the humans. However, Deathbringer made a move, exerting pressure on his arm, growling slightly as he threw his axe in the direction of the tentacle.

*Cut*

Deathbringer's axe, thrown like a shuriken, easily cuts through that tentacle, but as this happens, the creature's other tentacles have already pierced Deathbringer's chest with one of their tentacles.
