Te Lapa, otherwise known as the flashing or mirages seen in space, is a phenomenon that began nearly two decades ago at the pinnacle of humanity's space age.

Since then, things have never been the same.

What can only be described as an incursion has begun with strange creatures called Outliers laying waste to human and alien colonies.
