Emperor and the spirit

The "Emperor and the spirit" stories are a collection of tales and legends told by the ghost Betaal to the legendary king Vikramaditya. Betal tells Vikram a story and then poses a riddle related to the story, testing Vikram's wisdom and justice. If Vikram answers correctly, Betal returns to his previous location; otherwise, he continues to tell stories and ask questions.
