I sat on the bed, picking up the documents.

"What for?" I inquired.

"Go through it, and see for yourself" His cold voice whistled.

My eyes balls paraded in anticipation, as I bring out the contract from the brown envelope.

"What's the devil up to huh?" I wondered. Finally bringing out the sheet.

It's a contract just as I thought.

I briskly, go through it.

Few seconds later..

"Are you for real?" I shrikes.

"Were you putting on glasses when reading it?" He sighed.

"Like, you want me to start going to work?" I asked not containing my joy.

"Just as you read" He grumpily answered.

"Thank you so much sir" I appreciate him.

"Don't thank me, flip it over and sign on the necessary places." He cooed.

"Oh okay?" I scoffed.... What was I even thinking? He's a devil. I know devils don't gives anything for free, they must be a Price attached.

I flipped over to the next page.

I got down and headed for my room.

I laid dowñ still thinking about the deal.

I wish to go back to work.. but sir Jayden's is just too much.

The school bell rang as so many noises were heard from every angle.

I took my books arranging it back into my bag..

the class was crammed with noises.. can't wait to go back home.

"Ms Betty Maxwell?" I heard my name, slashing my chain of thoughts.

I peek up just to see Mrs Han ju, our class teacher standing above me.

"A lady is here to see you, she claims she is quite conversant with you, and just drop by to say hello" She said helping me arrange my project into my locker.

"Lady? What lady?" I said in a perplexed tone.

"You see, you won't discuss with her in an isolated place, beside the securities will accompany you to met with her. She's been here since morning, we tried our best to dispel her, but it seems she's rich... she promised to go Sue our school..." She explained further.

"Can I see her? My driver and nanny will be here in no blinks" I raised my eyelids.

I hang my bag taking my lunch bag.. as she led me to the door.

"Take her to the guest room, and make sure not to leave her sight until she's done talking with the lady.

Seated on the bed. With so many gifts for Betty..

Betty was stunned at the sight of the gorgeous lady. She's pretty and sliky... No doubt.

"Good day Miss? Why do you seek my presence?" She asked hourridly.

"That's rubbish, you can't stop me from hugging her, did you have any idea how long I've waited for a day like this?" She barked.

"Stop throwing tantrums and head up to the point, I've got no time to waste" Betty's girlish Petit voice sounded.

"You see baby, am your daddy's best friend, I could have come see you at home.. but your dad won't let me" She uttered dismally.

"Am your mother baby" She said feeling disappointed, it hurts to know that the child she carries for nine good months, can't recognize her.

"I've got you some presence." She said scornfully...

"Am sorry Ms, but my aunt Rivera asked me not to take anything from a stranger as you, thanks! I've to take my leave now" Betty said about heading out.

"Are you sure you don't need the gift? They're quite expensive, you would love them" She insisted.

"Am sorry ma'am, but I can't disobey my aunt, if I need gift she can gets a lot for me" She said assuredly.

"I can see you love that aunt of yours so much." Mrs Salvadorian said bitterly.

"Yes I do, she's my superhero....am alive today all because of her and the almighty, she gave me one of her kidneys.. you see? She did what my mom couldn't have done" She said with sense of pride for Rivera.

"She's indeed good, I see why you love her so much.. this is my card do feel at ease to give me a call anytime any day" She stretched her business card to Betty.

"Thanks ma'am" She accepted. Heading out of the guests room.. as the two securities strode behind her.

Immediately she left Mrs Salvador fall angrily to the bed.

"I've totally lost my child to someone else.

"I thought, I was doing the right thing but,, no!! I've lost her!!

"MS SALVADOR, you have a photoshoot first thing tomorrow morning, we need to catch a flight back to American" Her p.A uttered stepping into the room.

"Get out of my sight" She Yelled at her.

"Here Ms Betty, I got some ice cream for you, am sure you will like the flavor." I said passing the ice cream bag to Ms Betty who's attention was focused on the fairy tale novel she was reading.

"No thanks, Karate." She said without glancing up.

"Why? Don't you like it?" I questioned flaring.

"I don't take ice cream" She sounded.

"Why is that, huh?"

"I can't take it, am allergic to cold stuff. Don't tell me you don't know all these, because I told you the first day you came" she scolded.

"Am sorry, Ms Betty it skip my memories... But you can still have a test" I insisted smirking deviously.

"No, I said I won't!!" She yelled pushing it away forcefully.

"MS get hold of yourself, or I will report you to the boss" The elderly driver cut in from the drive seat.

I rolled my eyes in displeasure.

"Sorry, Ms Betty I don't know what got over me" I apologized.

"It's okay karate, but next time don't Force stuff on me. Else I'll tell my aunt River" She said still focused on her book.

We got to the mansion as always Ms Rivera was waiting excitedly for Betty.

"Aunt Rivera!!!" Betty shrieked jumping dowñ in excitement while running to Ms Rivera's open arms.

"Oh my unicorn!! I missed you." She uttered peaking her all over her cheek.

"I miss you too, Aunt."

I watched them both as anger surged through me.

"Keep being happy, for the mean time... Your time is ticking"

After cooking and helping Betty with her assignments..

She took her bath and went to sleep. Before I left her room.

I served Master Jayden's meal on the dinning table.

Tho he's unpredictable. Some days he will eat and other days reverse is the case.

Through out the afternoon. I couldn't quit thinking about the deal.

I know I really need to go back to work.

I haven't made up my mind yet.

I laid down on the bed, flipping through some medical magazine.

When my door busted open. Revealing master Jayden's.

"What the heck are you doing in my room?" I flared.

"Came to call my doll down for dinner" He smirked handsomely.

"Am done eating, get the hell outta my room" I half yelled.

"How dare you chase me out of my house??" He uttered coming closer to me.

"No! Calm your nerves I was just kidding" I faked a smile.

I can't imagine him torturing me tonight.

He strode further and further towards me with his gaze fixed on me. With his hands folded to the back.

"I love it when you're kidding,, the way your eyes roll when you kid me.... The way you get too tensed when kidding me..... It makes me wanna punish you for kidding me." He said as my heart beats faster.

"Am sorry." I pleaded. But who the heck am I kidding with? He pulled me roughly from the floor..

Locking his lips on Mine as he kissed me hungrily. Without giving me time to digest the whole thing.. He instantly pulled off from the kiss.

"I got you something" He mumbled.

And instantly, the door jolted open.

Ray strode in handing me a bag.

I could feel it. It was a new laptop.

My heart leap with joy.. but I instantly got hold of myself.

"I don't need your gifts." I said shoving it back to Ray.

His eyes, instantly darkened in displeasure.
