Chapter 71

A group of people from the Dragon Teng Guild marched toward Xu Yuan's main city with great momentum. Led by Long Teng, there were also some consortium members and elites, all riding horses and walking with their toes high, exuding an air of confidence. One by one, they resembled a well-organized patrol squad, poised and ready.

The appearance of this elite team on the side of the Dragon Teng Guild immediately drew attention from some idle players nearby.

"Wow, does the Dragon Teng Guild even have mounts?!"

"Where are they going?"

"That direction… seems to be the main city of the Cube Man Guild, right?"

"Are they planning to cause trouble?!"

"Wasn't the Dragon Teng Guild previously beaten down by the Cube Man Guild? And now they dare to make trouble?"

"Hey, don't you know? I heard that after their last fiasco, Dragon Teng spent a lot of money hiring some think tanks. Those guys are quite powerful now, and the guild's development might not be worse than the Block People Guild's."

"I've been to the main city of Dragon Teng before; it looks quite prosperous, and the area seems comparable to the Cube Man Guild's main city… Buildings are intact, and there's no PVP mode now…"

"I don't know… Let's go, let's gather everyone!!"

Along the way, many players were attracted by this group from the Dragon Teng Guild. The popular pastime of watching the spectacle quickly turned into a desire to join in the fun, and news spread rapidly across world channels and forums.

"The high-level of the Dragon Teng Guild is heading to the Cube People Guild's main city!! War is imminent!!"

"Wow!!! The two guilds are about to clash again?!"

"Let's go and watch the excitement!!"

For a time, players were thrilled by this exciting development. After all, the guild battles between these two factions had always been intense, and everyone was eager to see who would come out on top this time.

On their way to the Cube Man Guild, more idle players joined their ranks, increasing the pride of the Dragon Teng Guild members. Soon, surrounded by a crowd of players, the members of the Dragon Teng Guild arrived at Xu Yuan's main city.

At this moment, many players had gathered around Xu Yuan's guild city, all eager to witness the spectacle. Since the city was open to the public—players could come and go freely—they naturally settled in, becoming the audience for this event.

Meanwhile, the Dragon Teng Guild members entered Xu Yuan's main city. Xu Yuan was chatting with the players from Neon Country when suddenly, he heard a commotion outside.

Shortly after, Ken pushed open the door and reported to Xu Yuan, "Boss, the people from the Dragon Teng Guild are here."

Xu Yuan was momentarily surprised by Ken's words.

"What are they doing here?"

Ken shook his head. "I'm not sure. Their high-level elites are already inside the city."

Hearing this, Xu Yuan thought for a moment and then turned his gaze toward the Neon Country players.

So, the purpose of the Dragon Teng Guild's visit was probably related to these Neon players, right?

The guild must have regarded these players as important figures and assumed Xu Yuan was seeking their help. Was this trip meant to intimidate or even seize these players?

Xu Yuan smiled at this thought; in truth, these Neon Country players didn't matter much to him. They wouldn't influence his overall development. Hosting them was merely a strategic move—sending more people to follow these players from Neon Country meant more leverage for him.

However, Xu Yuan was curious—how would Long Teng's people attempt to snatch these players from him?

"Come out with me," Xu Yuan said, turning to the Neon Country players behind him.

The players nodded respectfully and followed him out.

At this moment, all the players in the main city eagerly watched Xu Yuan's departure.

"The show's about to start!!"

"To be honest, I think Long Teng has lost half of his momentum…"

"I also think Steve looks calm and confident—the aura of a true king. On the other hand, Long Teng's side… seems a bit too aggressive…"

"Just look at Steve's expression—completely unbothered… maybe even teasing?"

Xu Yuan's appearance immediately drew attention and discussion among the crowd.

The members of the Dragon Teng Guild naturally heard the chatter and looked a little uneasy, though they tried to hide it. Long Teng dismounted and stepped forward, seemingly intending to greet Xu Yuan. But to everyone's surprise, he didn't look at Xu Yuan at all—instead, he turned to the Neon Country players behind Xu Yuan and greeted them.

"Hello, I am Long Teng, president of the Dragon Teng Guild. Welcome to Huaxia."

Xu Yuan couldn't help but smile at this scene, but he remained calm. He retreated to the steps in front of the hall, sat down, propping his head with one hand, and watched with interest.

He was eager to see what method Long Teng would use to try to snatch the players from his hands.

Meanwhile, the audience of melon-eaters was surprised by Xu Yuan's relaxed attitude.

Initially, Long Teng's move seemed like an attempt to show respect, but now it appeared like Xu Yuan didn't care at all. Many spectators wondered how Xu Yuan would respond. Instead of reacting negatively, Xu Yuan appeared more like a theatrical observer.

This drew cheers from many female players.

"Steve is so handsome!!!"

"Hahaha, I thought Xu Yuan would be embarrassed, but it's Long Teng who looks more awkward now."

"Steve's demeanor is so confident… it's like the king's aura…"

Long Teng's expression grew puzzled. He had thought Xu Yuan would be giving a stare, but instead, Xu Yuan was sitting relaxed and indifferent.

This left Long Teng confused.

Meanwhile, the Neon Country player who could speak Chinese stepped forward, politely shaking Long Teng's hand.

"Hello, President Long Teng."

Long Teng smiled and responded, "I heard you all traveled from Neon Country. It must have been a long journey. Why not come to our guild's main city to rest?"

He gestured casually. "You should know, our main city isn't the only one. We also have a beautiful, uniform medieval castle-style city. I guarantee you'll love it."

The Neon players, hearing this, showed eager expressions. They initially thought only Steve was developing strongly, but Long Teng's words suggested other regions were also thriving. Naturally, they wanted to see more.

Seeing their eager faces, Long Teng felt he had succeeded. Just as he was feeling proud, all the Neon players looked at Xu Yuan sitting calmly in the distance.

One of them, who could speak Chinese, turned to Xu Yuan and said with a hint of pleading, "Lord Steve, may we visit the main city of the Dragon Guild?"

Long Teng was stunned. Why were these Neon players so respectful to Steve?

Weren't they the ones begging Xu Yuan? Why were they now asking Steve for permission?

A wave of confusion swept through Long Teng's mind.

Meanwhile, the crowd of spectators couldn't help but laugh at this scene.

"Looks like Long Teng turned into a licking dog, hahahaha…"

"Yeah, he's really licking Steve now."

"Is Long Teng here just to lick the Neon players?!"

"Ouch, that's embarrassing…"

The members of the Dragon Teng Guild all looked pale. They had come to make trouble, but they were getting humiliated instead—by Xu Yuan's calm and playful attitude, not even by Xu Yuan himself.

Xu Yuan watched the scene unfold, amused. When Long Teng's group arrived to cause trouble, the think tank on the side of the Dragon Teng Guild was busy studying the heads of three wither skeletons. They hoped to recruit something from them.

"If that's the case, then the recruitment medium should be something from nether," one think tank member suggested, striking the skeletons as if fighting in a nether fortress.

They tried nether bricks, magma blocks, and even soul sand—each attempt met with no response.

"Try combining the soul sand with the skull to make a humanoid monster," another suggested. "The soul sand as the body, the skull as the head."

But nothing worked, and they had to tear down the half-constructed creature.

Disappointed, the think tank members nodded and casually placed the remaining two skulls on the soul sand.

Suddenly, thick black smoke erupted from the mixture. As the smoke dispersed, a strange creature with three heads and half a body materialized before everyone's eyes.

The monster exuded a mysterious, eerie aura.

The think tanks were terrified, ready to flee—but then, surprisingly, the creature did not attack.

They were overjoyed.

"Does it not attack? Is it a summon? Can we use it ourselves?!"
