Imperial Obito’s Encounter with Orochimaru and Sasuke

On another road.

Spiral-masked Obito smiled awkwardly at Deidara.

"Deidara-senpai, m-my stomach hurts so bad! It's all coming out! No! I can't hold it anymore!"

As he spoke, he pretended to start pulling down his pants.

Deidara, beside him, showed a disgusted expression and shouted:

"Stupid Tobi! Get away from me! If you dare do that near me, I'll turn you into minced meat!"

"Ugh! Waa! Deidara-senpai's so scary!"

Tobi said fearfully, clutching his backside as he ran off quickly, disappearing completely from Deidara's sight.

Zetsu slowly emerged from the ground, with an odd expression, relaying information about Shuji.

"A new Uchiha, huh? Shuji? Weird name. But he's got some guts, daring to challenge Itachi like that."

"For our plan, should we eliminate him?"

"No need. He's just a fool who doesn't know his place. An Uchiha without a Mangekyou Sharingan isn't worth our attention." Obito said indifferently.

In a dark underground chamber.

Sasuke, Orochimaru, and Kabuto gathered again.

Orochimaru looked thrilled, his tongue constantly licking his lips:

"Interesting! So interesting! I didn't expect there'd be another Uchiha in this world besides Sasuke-kun! Even more intriguing, he's threatening Itachi. Sasuke-kun, your plan to kill Itachi yourself might fail."

"Uchiha Itachi isn't that easy to kill. But another Uchiha…"

Sasuke paused mid-sentence.

"What? Does Sasuke-kun want to meet him? He's a surviving Uchiha, after all." Kabuto said, pushing up his glasses with his left hand.

His eyes met Orochimaru's, as if plotting something.

"It's indeed interesting. Do you have a way to lure that guy out of Konoha?" Sasuke asked, glancing at Kabuto.

"Of course. Orochimaru-sama was once one of Konoha's Sannin. Even now, Konoha still has many of Orochimaru-sama's followers. As long as Orochimaru-sama gives the order, they have plenty of ways to lure that surviving Uchiha out." Kabuto said with a confident smile.

"Then go. I want to see how strong this guy who dares demand Itachi's death really is." Sasuke ordered.

"Go, Kabuto. I'm also looking forward to this Uchiha's performance." Orochimaru said with a creepy laugh.

'Another target for body replacement! I wonder how this surviving Uchiha compares to Sasuke—who's more suitable?'

Truly intriguing…

Konoha.

A small alley.

Imperial Neji stared at Imperial Obito with a grim expression.

"What have you been doing these past few days? Why did you make the Hokage spread that news?"

"I've been investigating Uchiha-related information, but the more I dig, the more uneasy I feel. You should understand! Uchiha Itachi, that beast who killed his own parents! I can't stand seeing him live happily!"

Imperial Obito also wore a grim expression.

"So, you want to kill him now?"

"No, I promised Itachi and everyone in the clan not to kill this world's Uchiha Itachi. But tormenting him? That wasn't part of the deal!"

Imperial Obito's voice was cold.

"Tch. You… Fine, whatever. I've already taken revenge on this world's Hyuga Clan, so I've no right to lecture you. Do what you want. But at least broaden your intelligence-gathering scope. Don't let me have more info than you when we report back!"

"Relax, no one can hide information from my eyes."

"Hmph!"

Finally, Imperial Neji and Obito walked out of the alley separately.

But Obito hadn't gone far when he noticed someone following him. He slowly headed toward a deserted street.

A friendly greeting came from behind:

"Hello, surviving Uchiha, Brother Shuji."

"Hmm?"

Imperial Obito turned, eyeing the newcomer.

An ordinary-looking man.

"Can we talk privately? I have very important information for you." the man said, smiling.

"Is this about that trash Uchiha Itachi? If not, I'm not interested." Imperial Obito said.

"Shuji-kun is sharp. It's indeed about him."

"Then let's go."

After saying this, Imperial Obito followed the man.

The corner of his mouth curled slightly.

'Trash Uchiha Itachi! I'll make you see how terrifying a true Uchiha is! I'll make you, murderer of your parents, you bastard who doesn't value childhood friends, feel true despair and regret!'

As he walked, Imperial Obito's mind raced with ways to make that beast Itachi despair.

They continued to the city outskirts, where the man leading shouted:

"Orochimaru-sama, I've brought him!"

"So easy, no little tails following. Konoha seems to trust Shuji-kun a lot."

A hoarse, eerie voice came from the forest.

Orochimaru slowly stepped out.

"All thanks to that brainless Tsunade as Hokage, letting a bunch of ninjas train in weird taijutsu. Konoha's defenses are pathetically weak right now." the ordinary man said, laughing proudly.

"Orochimaru? Shouldn't it be that trash Uchiha Itachi?"

Imperial Obito's eyebrows rose, glaring at the man who led him with slight irritation.

"I was tricked?"

His voice carried clear anger.

"You were too careless, Uchiha Shuji. The ninja world isn't that simple!" the man said, smiling.

"Just say it—what do you want with me, Konoha traitor? If it's not something crucial, the consequences will be severe!"

Imperial Obito's expression was unfriendly.

"So scary, Shuji-kun…" Orochimaru licked his lips, his eyes showing slight surprise.

'He's not even afraid of me, one of the Sannin?'

'Is this Uchiha really that foolish? Or is his strength great enough to make him arrogant?'

Orochimaru could dismiss his earlier bold words about killing Itachi, assuming he didn't know Itachi's true strength since they hadn't fought.

But Orochimaru's reputation was on a whole different level from Itachi's! For his opponent to show no fear—something was off!

"I heard you want to steal my prey?"

Another indifferent voice came from the forest.

Imperial Obito's eyes shifted slightly.

He saw his opponent wearing white, chest bare, with a handsome face.

Imperial Obito's expression changed slightly:

"Sasuke?"

"Oh… Shuji-kun knows Sasuke-kun? Then I don't need to introduce him." Orochimaru said, smiling.

"Looks like you've seen my wanted poster?" Sasuke said with a cold expression.

Imperial Obito didn't answer immediately, instead eyeing Orochimaru and Sasuke before him, his heart stirring.

Though annoyed it wasn't that trash Itachi, these two weren't ordinary either.

Orochimaru seemed to be a brilliant scientist in this world.

Sasuke, needless to say, with his talent in Martial Arts training and a special elixir, could quickly become a powerful and useful combat asset.

'If I can subdue them, it'd bring plenty of benefits for now. Maybe… after His Majesty, he might even lighten my punishment?'

'Though I'm not afraid of death, I'd return to my roots, my own world. In this hell, there's no Rin.'
