Trapped beneath the thick prison of ice, Guts exhaled slowly. His eyes burned with defiance, and in the next moment...

CRACK!

Red lightning exploded from his body, Conqueror's Haki erupting like a tempest. The battlefield trembled.

Puff!

Puffed!!!

The frozen sculptures around him shattered like brittle glass beneath a rampaging road roller.

Within seconds, they crumbled into nothing but shimmering particles.

Even the towering ice barrier groaned and dissolved, torn apart by the violent gust of Haki-driven wind.

"...What the hell?"

Minato Namikaze and the surrounding shinobi watched in stunned silence, eyes wide in disbelief.

And then they saw it.

A faint, ghost-like figure loomed behind Guts, a phantom echo, a wide grin etched across its face. It bore an uncanny resemblance to Monkey D. Garp himself.

Guts felt it.

His Conqueror's Haki... it had grown stronger.

This moment, this presence...reminded you of Zoro's Ashura form, but the sheer pressure Guts exuded…

It was something even more monstrous.

[Achievement Unlocked: "Kill the Controlled Mizukage." Template Character: Monkey D. Garp. Completion Rate: 76.68%]

The system's mechanical voice rang in Guts's mind, and he frowned.

That guy… wasn't weak.

In pure one-on-one strength, Third Mizukage might've even surpassed Onoki. Guts had struggled to take down Onoki.

Yet here, he'd defeated the Mizukage using the same techniques, and it felt oddly... easy.

He glanced at the achievement title again—"Controlled Kage."

Ah. So that was it.

He was under Genjutsu... Sharingan control.

It wasn't a fair fight.

If it had been someone like Aokiji or Esdeath, true ice monsters...he might've been in trouble.

But this guy?

Too easy.

Just as he was lost in thought

"You bastard!"

A blur slammed into him. Soft warmth enveloped his body as someone clung to him tightly. He heard a muffled sob at his ear.

"I thought you were dead, idiot!"

Turning his head, he saw her, Tsunade, eyes red, fists trembling slightly.

"If I were that easy to kill"

Guts grinned and continued

"I wouldn't be me."

She didn't reply. So he simply reached up and tousled her hair twice, ignoring the stunned looks from Minato and the others.

Then he turned back to the battlefield, cracking his knuckles, a wide grin spreading across his face.

He scanned the Mist Shinobi soldiers, one by one.

"Anyone else not had enough fun?" he asked.

"Come on, stand up."

Clang!

A kunai hit the ground.

Then another.

And another.

Dozens.

Within minutes, the entire Mist Shinobi force had dropped their weapons in surrender.

"Just like that, the Third Great Ninja War… is over."

Minato sighed in relief. But as he glanced to his side, he noticed Jiraiya's expression, complicated, brooding.

He understood why.

That moment between Guts and Tsunade… it had been too intimate.

Guts was only fourteen. And yet, he lived under the same roof as Tsunade. There were rumors and whispers about it.

Minato wasn't one to meddle in others private lives, but still… this stung. Especially for Jiraiya.

Then again, even if Guts didn't exist, Jiraiya still wouldn't have stood a chance. Tsunade would've picked a random special Jōnin over him.

So maybe… better to lose to a once-in-a-century genius than to a nobody.

Orochimaru sauntered up, that eerie grin of his curling.

"So… let me get this straight," he drawled.

"Third Raikage, Third Tsuchikage, and now Third Mizukage… all fell to Guts-kun."

He let out a low chuckle.

"Heh… Kage Killer… has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?"

Minato, Jiraiya, and the others froze.

That name, those words...they sent a chill down everyone's spine.

They did the math. In just two years, Guts had taken down three Kage-level opponents.

Even if Onoki survived, his shinobi career was over.

And Guts… he wasn't even fifteen.

If he were ten years older, he'd already be the Fourth Hokage.

But even now, his influence in the coming Hokage election would be undeniable.

The Mist Village had lost its leader.

With the Third Mizukage dead, negotiations fell to a young man, Yagura Karatachi, future Fourth Mizukage. Despite his youthful appearance, he was reportedly over twenty years old.

At present, Nohara Rin, the previous Three Tails Jinchūriki, was dead. The tailed beast had not yet revived.

Yagura had not become the perfect Jinchūriki, and based on his behavior, it was clear...he had not fallen under Obito's control.

The truce talks with Jiraiya and Orochimaru began smoothly.

"Wanna head back together?"

Guts asked, turning to Tsunade after confirming the talks were underway.

She hesitated, but only for a heartbeat. Then she nodded.

That moment earlier, when Mizukage's technique nearly killed him...

It had shaken her.

Her tone toward Guts softened noticeably since.

Even Guts himself was surprised.

As the two walked off...

Uchiha Shisui hobbled out of the medical tent, his arm bandaged, expression weary.

"Where's Sensei?" he asked one of the guards.

"He left with Lady Tsunade."

Shisui was momentarily stunned. Then sighed.

Seriously? I almost lost an arm and he didn't even drop by?

But before he could sulk too long, several Uchiha clan members approached, their expressions grim.

"Uchiha Shisui," one said.

"When you return to the village, the clan patriarch and elders request your presence at the Naka Shrine."

Shisui's eyes narrowed.

Something felt… off.

He had a bad feeling about this.
