Shisui scratched his head awkwardly, his voice slightly hesitant as he explained:

"Even though the old grudge between the Senju and Uchiha clans is ancient history, Konoha's leadership hasn't changed much. Out of the four Hokage so far, three have been Senju."

He paused, choosing his words carefully.

"Right now, it's only a few members in the clan causing unrest, mainly those whose parents suffered because of the Senju."

"It's not widespread yet... but I can't shake the feeling that if this keeps building, it could become something dangerous."

Guts exhaled deeply.

"I'm not really interested in Uchiha politics. You know that. So why come to me?"

Shisui bowed slightly, his expression serious.

"I'm not asking you to interfere. I just hope you'll let the Fourth Hokage know about the current mood in the clan. If something's going to happen... maybe it can be prevented."

To be honest, even though elders like Hiruzen and Danzo had stepped down, discrimination and mistrust toward the Uchiha still lingered beneath the surface.

No matter how peaceful things looked on the outside, with the current direction the clan was heading, their chances of becoming Hokage were slim.

And without representation at the top, the seeds of rebellion would never fully disappear.

Guts looked at the young man bowing before him, silent for a moment. Then he gave a small nod.

"Alright. I'll do what I can."

Shisui lifted his head, his eyes filled with gratitude.

"Thank you Sensei."

He hesitated, then added,

"After this, I've been asked by the clan elders, especially Lord Fugaku...to formally join the Uchiha Police Force. So... I might not be able to see you as often, Sensei."

Guts raised an eyebrow.

"You're not a beautiful woman. Why would I miss seeing you?"

Shisui flinched as if he'd taken a blow to the chest.

His lips twitched, and despite himself, he chuckled. The tension in his shoulders eased just a little.

He bowed again, then disappeared with an impressively clean Body Flicker Technique.

Time passed quietly, and soon it was the 47th year of Konoha's calendar.

In the spring, the wife of the owner of Konoha's largest weapon shop, an acquaintance of Guts, gave birth to a baby girl named TenTen.

Around the same time, Hyuga Hizashi, head of the Hyuga branch family, welcomed a son named Neji Hyuga.

And somewhere in the commoner district, an unnamed civilian family celebrated the birth of a boy with massive eyebrows named Rock Lee.

Naturally, Guts didn't know about any of these births at first.

It was only when he happened to see a couple walking down the street with a baby whose eyebrows looked like miniature hedges that he stopped in his tracks.

He stared.

No way... Did Guy get drunk and slept with some random guy's woman?

The birth of these three marked the quiet beginning of a new generation, future members of the renowned Konoha 12.

One evening, Guts stood on the cliff overlooking the village, eyes scanning the familiar landscape.

On the mountainside behind the Hokage building, the newly carved face of Tsunade now stood proudly beside that of Hiruzen Sarutobi.

So much has changed without me realizing it…

That same year, 14-year-old Kurenai and Guts's former classmates, including Might Guy began attempting the Jōnin exams.

Kurenai failed.

Guy passed.

Guts couldn't help but sigh. His system despite all its benefits didn't include overpowered shortcuts like "Talent Pills" or magical limit breaking artifacts.

Still, Guy had trained with Guts since he was a kid, enduring a brutal, Navy-style regime that was far harsher than anything in the original timeline.

The result? A version of Might Guy several levels stronger than the anime portrayed.

Kurenai had also improved. Thanks to Guts's guidance, her genjutsu had advanced significantly. But she wasn't on Guy's level.

That night, she lay curled up in Guts's arms, sulking.

He smiled softly, pressing a kiss to the corner of her red eyes.

Kurenai pouted and leaned in, brushing her lips against his.

From the courtyard, Anko's annoyed voice rang out:

"Hey! I'm still here, you know!"

She was training with Samehada, swinging the massive blade around like it weighed nothing.

With Shisui now tied up in clan affairs, she had been spending more time with Kakashi—though "visiting" might be an understatement.

She was learning White Fang's sword techniques directly from him.

Kakashi, having the Sharingan, was now shifting his style to complement it and slowly abandoning the Hatake-ryū in honor of his late friend.

But Anko? She'd inherited those techniques.

Samehada was a far cry from the short blade used by White Fang, but under Guts's guidance, Anko was adapting the sword style to fit her own wild, unpredictable strength.

After all, Guts's mental training simulations included legendary swordsmen like:

[Golden Lion] Shiki

[Whitebeard] Edward Newgate

[Dark King] Silvers Rayleigh

[Pirate King] Gol D. Roger

[Rocks D. Xebec] (PS: The Goat, if you have seen the spoilers)

Each of them was a master of swordsmanship.

Kurenai's cheeks flushed deeper red, and she buried her face into Guts's chest.

Guts glanced at Anko without lifting his head.

"If your mouth can't stay shut, maybe close your eyes instead."

Anko puffed her cheeks like an irritated frog.

By the time the calendar turned to the 48th year of Konoha, change was once again in the air.

One morning, Minato Namikaze dropped by with a smile that practically lit up the room.

"Kushina's pregnant."

Guts blinked.

"Congrats."

Minato grinned, rubbing the back of his head.

"And we've been thinking of names. I wanted to use the name of the main character from Jiraiya-sensei's first novel."

"Uzumaki Naruto?"

Guts said it out of reflex.

Minato's eyes widened.

"Huh? That's weird... we were thinking Namikaze Naruto. Why Uzumaki?"

Guts froze.

Right...Minato's alive in this world. It makes sense they'd use his surname, not Kushina's.

But Minato tilted his head thoughtfully, expression turning serious.

"…But I like the sound of Uzumaki Naruto too. The Uzumaki clan was nearly wiped out in the war. Maybe it's right to let the name live on through our son."

Guts watched, a little surprised. He hadn't expected his offhand comment to spark that kind of reflection.

Minato was already walking off, waving over his shoulder.

"Well, if it's a boy, we'll go with Naruto. But if it's a girl…"

He turned and grinned mischievously,

"Maybe Namikaze Naruko?"

Guts laughed.

"Why not both? Your kid's gonna end up with a Sexy Jutsu anyway, boy or girl, he'll be able to transform into either."

Minato blinked. "Sexy what?"

Guts waved him off. "Don't worry about it."

As Minato left, Guts muttered to himself.

"Man, you're planning two names? I guess that seductive technique might come in handy after all…"
