His heart and eyes were filled with nothing but me.
But I glanced at the little wolf cub beside me and smiled with acceptance: "Damien Blackwood, I've long been marked by my Alpha."

Inside, Damien's mocking voice continued: "Sera's such a dumb bitch, I wouldn't bother marking her in a million years."


"Why not just let those outsider wolves have their way with her? Save us the trouble of her chasing other Alphas later."


Someone cautioned: "What if she finds out?"


Damien's tone turned icy, and as he spoke, he couldn't help but laugh.

"You wanna bet? After those outsider wolves have their way with her, I'll shed a few fake tears, and she'll probably end up comforting me!"


"Alpha, if you don't want her, why not just kick her out of the pack?"


"Aren't you afraid of breaking her heart by playing games with a she-wolf?"


He leaned down to kiss Lilith, their tongues intertwining: "Lilith is my only she-wolf. Sera's nothing more than a glorified babysitter."


"If it weren't for her, Lilith's brother would still be alive."


"If I didn't need her to look after my pups with Lilith, I would've already...""Alpha, Sera may have escaped the death penalty, but she won't escape punishment. I'll make sure she pays for what she did to Lilith for the rest of her life," Damien said coldly.


But when he mentioned me, a hint of softness involuntarily crossed his eyes.


Sera loves me so much. I'm just asking her to do some trivial tasks, but I'm allowing her to stay by my side.


Even if she finds out, she'll be grateful and won't get angry.


The other wolves, seeing this, realized that Damien still had some feelings for me in his heart, so they didn't dare to continue stirring up trouble.

Lilith's smile was innocent, but her words were venomous.
