Alex Ray looked at the rewards before him in surprise.
To be honest, the prizes this time were a bit too generous. Three popular franchises from his past life—Bleach, One Piece, and Kamen Rider Build—had all made an appearance in this draw.
There were two light-attribute ability templates, plus a game-breaking-level Zanpakutō—Kyōka Suigetsu.
Also included was the transformation belt from the genius inventor Build, complete with two full bottles.
And then there was the Vulture Fruit. Alex already knew exactly who he would give it to.
Although the power of this Devil Fruit wasn't particularly overwhelming, Hell's Kitchen just happened to have a doctor who dreamed of flight every single day.
"This Devil Fruit will go to Dr. Adrian," Alex muttered to himself. "After all, he's always dreamed of flying. Consider it payment in advance for his future work as a teacher in Hell's Kitchen."
Alex paid a visit to the school and checked in on Dr. Vulture. Aside from repeatedly demanding funding from the school board, Dr. Vulture remained devoted to teaching his students.
As for the transformation belt of the incredible and eccentric genius Build, Alex had already decided to give it to Tony Stark.
After all, they were both geniuses. Tony wouldn't feel slighted.
That said, Alex figured Tony probably wouldn't use the belt very often. Knowing him, he'd test it once or twice at most—or maybe just use it to upgrade one of his worn-out Iron Man suits.
Still, the Kamen Rider Build system might spark some inspiration. Who knows? Tony could end up developing his own versions of the Full Bottles.
Now came the real highlight: Alex finally retrieved the legendary Zanpakutō—Kyōka Suigetsu.
This sword once belonged to the enigmatic and powerful Aizen Sōsuke from the Bleach universe.
Though it didn't look particularly threatening on the surface, Alex knew that the true power of this blade lay not in brute strength, but in its deceptive elegance and overwhelming psychological warfare.
Kyōka Suigetsu's ability was terrifying—it could fully hypnotize its target, manipulating all five senses at will.
Sight, sound, smell, touch, taste—every perception could be altered at the whim of its wielder.
But it had one fatal flaw: the sword had to be activated in front of the target at least once to take effect.
Alex thought to himself, I wonder if this sword could fool someone like Loki, the god of stories—or even the Ancient One. If it can't deceive beings like them, then it's pretty much useless to me.
He moved on to consider the two ability templates he had drawn: Hidan from Naruto and Enel from One Piece.
As for Enel's template, he hadn't decided which family member it would best suit.
But when it came to Hidan, the image of a very specific person immediately popped into his head.
Hidan's immortality, combined with his unique ritualistic abilities, made him a perfect fit for one man.
Hidan, a member of the Akatsuki organization in the Naruto universe, had terrifying regenerative powers. As long as he obtained the enemy's blood, he could draw a ritual circle and use it to transfer any injuries he sustained directly to his opponent.
Add in his masochistic, suicidal personality—so similar to Deadpool's—and Alex didn't need to think any further. There was only one person for the job.
Enel's template, on the other hand, was harder to place.
It wasn't exactly overpowered, but it wasn't weak either. It was… unique. Alex continued weighing the pros and cons in his mind, searching for someone in the family who could maximize the lightning-based abilities of the Sky God.
After some thought, Alex decided to start with the Hidan template.
He was convinced that once that twisted bastard got his hands on it, the results would be explosive.
As for Enel's template, he could take his time finding the right match.
"The system will now begin matching the Hidan template with the most compatible family member."
The mechanical voice echoed in his head.
". . . . . ."
"Family member Wade Winston Wilson has been selected. Compatibility rate: 111.9%. Do you wish to use the Hidan template?"
Alex blinked.
111.9%? That's insanely high. What does that even mean?
"Use it," he said instantly.
"Why is the compatibility rate so extreme?" Alex asked aloud.
"The extremely high match indicates that the family member will not only fully utilize the template's power, but potentially exceed its original limitations."
So Deadpool would become even stronger than Hidan.
That made sense. If Hidan and Deadpool ever fought, the odds of Hidan winning weren't high to begin with.
A golden light flashed, and a beam shot directly into the chest of the currently half-drunk Wade.
Alex could feel the surge of energy emanating from the Hidan template, but he had no need to learn it himself. His own style of combat didn't rely on such rituals. Besides, an enemy like the Ancient One would never give him the opportunity to perform a blood ritual in the first place.
"Proceed to use the Enel template," Alex ordered.
He was genuinely curious who the system would choose this time.
"The system will now begin matching the Enel template with the most compatible family member," the voice replied. Alex waited.
A few moments later, it spoke again.
"Family member Pietro Maximoff has been selected. Compatibility rate: 78%. Do you wish to use the Enel template?"
Alex was a bit taken aback. He had expected Pietro to be better suited for a DC-style Flash template—or perhaps even a Lightning Fruit template.
He figured Kizaru's light-speed template would've been a better match for Deadpool.
Still, a 78% match was nothing to scoff at.
And now that he thought about it, Enel's abilities might actually be a solid fit for Pietro.
If Pietro could incorporate Enel's electrical powers, he'd essentially become an alternative version of the Flash—faster, more versatile, and far more difficult to kill.
Especially with elemental intangibility. No more dying from bullets like he did in the movies. That alone would be a huge power boost.
Alex began to picture the future Pietro: his natural super speed combined with Enel's control over lightning.
Would that boost his speed even further? Would the combo unlock new potential?
"Use it," Alex murmured to himself.
At that moment, Pietro, who had been listening nearby—
As the golden light faded, Pietro felt the surge of the Enel template coursing through him, crackling with electric power.
At the same moment, Alex Ray sensed the raw energy of thunder and lightning sparking within himself.
His abilities had expanded beyond Magneto's magnetic manipulation. Now, he wielded the power of the Thunder Fruit.
A swell of pride rose in his chest. *Maybe I can pull off something like an electromagnetic cannon,* he thought, a smirk tugging at his lips.
"System, open panel," he commanded.

Alex scanned the panel and nodded, a flicker of satisfaction in his eyes.
The reward hadn't massively boosted his own power, but it had strengthened the family around him, and that was enough.
"Time to take Strange to see the Ancient One," he muttered, standing up and heading downstairs.
