Pandora’s Intervention

After leaping into the airport, Xiao Feng unleashed his full speed, sprinting relentlessly toward the hangar.

The soldiers stood frozen in disbelief, utterly stunned by the furious velocity of the man before them. None had ever imagined such a wrathful figure could move with such impossible swiftness.

Though nearly a kilometer from the hangar, Xiao Feng covered the distance in scarcely twenty seconds—an astonishing feat no eyewitness could easily fathom.

Without hesitation, he dashed inside the hangar and charged straight toward the Trident aircraft.

Suddenly, security personnel burst forth, shouting, "Halt! Stop right there!"

"Stop! Or we'll open fire!"

Xiao Feng paid no heed to the soldiers, pressing on until a shadow abruptly barred his path. With a heavy thud, he collided with her. The force was so great that Xiao Feng was flung backward, landing hard on the ground.

Groaning, he looked up—stunned to see none other than Pandora standing before him.

"Damn it, Pandora! Still awake this late? What are you doing? You nearly knocked me out!" he growled.

By then, several soldiers had surrounded him, weapons raised.

Pandora sneered coldly. "You forget—I'm a cyborg. I don't need sleep. But I'm curious: why are you rushing here so late at night?"

Among the X Legion soldiers, one recognized Xiao Feng. Noting his familiar banter with Pandora, they confirmed his identity and murmured apologies before dispersing. Everyone knew Xiao Feng was no one to provoke lightly.

Rubbing the sore spot where Pandora had struck him, Xiao Feng said, "Move aside—I need to take this plane out for a spin."

Pandora furrowed her brow, gripping his arm. "No. I can't let you go. I've grown attached to this aircraft—it belongs to me now. I won't let you fly it off recklessly. Besides, if you must fly, I'm the one who will pilot it. And you owe me an explanation—your mental state is all wrong. Something must have happened."

Xiao Feng grew impatient. "I can't explain it to you right now. Fine, you fly it—just get me to New City."

At the mention of New City, Pandora's expression turned puzzled. "So late, and you're going there? What for?"

"That's none of your business. Just get me there, or I'll fly myself." Irritated, Xiao Feng shoved her aside.

Unexpectedly, Pandora grabbed his shoulder and executed a sharp judo throw, slamming him forcefully to the ground. Her strength was formidable—no surprise, given her status as a Level Ten superpowered combatant.

Before he could rise, Pandora pinned him down, wrenching his arm with such force it felt like it might break. Then, a long knife suddenly appeared in her right hand, pressing against his throat.

"Calm down," she warned.

Gasping for breath, Xiao Feng glared at her. "You bastard! Let me go! I have to get to New City!"

"Tell me why you're going there. Then I'll accompany you. But if you keep acting this mad, I won't let you leave."

"Don't push me…"

Pandora smiled cruelly as a faint electric current surged along the blade into Xiao Feng's body. His muscles convulsed violently—devoid of his usual powers, the electric shock was unbearable.

"Ah…" Xiao Feng trembled uncontrollably.

"Can you talk now? Can you reason with me?" Pandora taunted.

Just as Xiao Feng opened his mouth to curse, another jolt of electricity coursed through him, finally sobering the frenzied man. He collapsed onto the ground, gasping for breath.

Inside the hangar's guard post, soldiers clutched their rifles, watching the scene with growing curiosity.

"Should we intervene? Looks like they're really going at it."

"Why bother? That's Xiao Feng and that fierce woman. You think you can stop them?"

"Yeah, if they accidentally hit you, you're done for."

"Besides, even if they don't attack you, it's a couple having a quarrel. What good does it do to interfere? Better to just keep out of it."

Silently, the guards settled into spectators, content to watch the drama unfold.

Gradually, Xiao Feng ceased struggling, panting as Pandora held him firmly on the ground.

"Alright, I give up. Let me go."

Pandora regarded him steadily. "Now we can talk?"

Xiao Feng nodded reluctantly. "Fine. I'll tell you…"

He recounted the entire ordeal to Pandora, who listened intently, her brow creasing deeply.

"You're talking about our boss's son?"

Xiao Feng confirmed with a nod. "I believe so. If I'm not mistaken, it's Jason's child."

Pandora's expression darkened. "If that's the case, I can't help you. But here's my advice—since Kelly has already turned her heart away from you, don't chase after her anymore. What good will it do? Beat up the boss's son or try to win Kelly back? Forget it."

Xiao Feng shot her a cold glare. "You say 'forget it' just like that? Sure, he's their son, but what does that have to do with me? I'll make sure he pays."

Pandora rolled her eyes. "European women are naturally liberal. A few affairs don't mean much. Besides, was Kelly a virgin when she was with you?"

Xiao Feng stiffened, then shook his head.

"See? Before you, she probably had many others she never told you about. Your relationship was special, yes—but for women like her, born into wealth, it might have just been a game."

"Impossible…" Xiao Feng's anger flared at Pandora's words.

"Don't get mad, okay? I say this as a friend. If it were anyone else, I wouldn't waste my breath. Now go get some sleep. If you can't, drink more. Tomorrow we set off for Africa. Forget all this nonsense. It's just a woman. You're handsome—there'll be plenty more."

Xiao Feng was left speechless, stunned by Pandora's blunt counsel.
