Jack

After Xiaofeng and his companions entered the cell block, they surveyed the rows of small, cage-like rooms. Suddenly, a squad of Alliance soldiers approached. Leading them was a slender, blond young man wearing scholarly glasses, his smile gentle yet concealing untold layers of cunning and malice.

"Mr. Zeus, long time no see," the bespectacled man greeted Zeus directly, barely acknowledging Xiaofeng and the others. Even Giant, towering conspicuously nearby, seemed invisible to him.

Xiaofeng smirked, shaking his head. "Ah, it seems Zeus still holds the upper hand."

Zeus gave a wry smile as he looked at the man. "Jack, it's been a while. Never expected you to be transferred here."

Jack maintained his smile. "Even if I'm assigned here, I'm quite pleased—not having to hide underground forever, heh." He then turned his gaze to Xiaofeng, whose commanding presence marked him clearly as the leader of this group.

Jack's eyes narrowed with disdain. "May I ask who you are?"

Xiaofeng returned the scorn in his voice. "I'm Xiaofeng. I'm sure you've heard of me."

Jack walked over to the bed and glanced toward the two fighter jets parked outside. A cold laugh escaped him. "Xiaofeng, the legendary soul of the X Legion."

Xiaofeng felt a surge of aversion toward the man's tone. "Yes, that's me."

"Ha! You truly live up to the legend. What boldness, daring to come to our Alliance prison. Aren't you afraid?"

Xiaofeng cut him off sharply. "Enough. I have no interest in your words. Your tone is insufferable. I'm here for one reason only—to take the envoy away."

Jack's smile instantly froze into a sinister scowl. "Don't delude yourself. Don't speak of taking the envoy. I won't let any of you leave this prison alive." At his command, numerous fully armed Alliance soldiers materialized at both ends of the corridor, sealing Xiaofeng and his group inside.

Xiaofeng scanned the soldiers; several were clearly psychics. Yet their combat prowess was insignificant compared to his team.

Zeus stepped forward, addressing Jack firmly: "Jack, don't be arrogant. Satan is still in Xiaofeng's hands. You're no match for them. Don't drag your men into this."

Jack blinked, then asked, "What did you say? Satan is still with them? No wonder we've lost contact all this time. I can't let them go now."

Meanwhile, Pandora, Tugou, Giant, and Qintian paid no mind to these Alliance soldiers or the low-level psychics. If a fight broke out, Tugou alone could dismantle them all within minutes.

Xiaofeng smiled calmly. "Since you know Satan, I guess you're one of the enraged ones. I offer you a wise choice: leave the Alliance and join us, the X Legion, like a ghostly wraith. Perhaps then you might still survive in this world. But if you persist in defiance, I will imprison you as I did Satan."

Jack scoffed, "I doubt you have that power."

"Do you truly believe you're stronger than Satan?" Xiaofeng challenged.

Jack began peeling off his Alliance uniform, revealing a sleeveless vest, dark blue pants, and combat boots. His muscular frame suddenly lent him an imposing aura.

"In the past, I wasn't as powerful as Satan. But now, I'm far stronger," he declared, launching a bare-knuckle punch toward Xiaofeng's face without a hint of weaponry.

Their proximity left little room for evasion. Jack's punch came so swiftly that Xiaofeng barely had time to react before it landed with a thunderous impact, sending him sprawling to the ground.

Jack pressed his advantage relentlessly, spinning and delivering a brutal kick to Athena's abdomen. His movements were so swift that he appeared as a flickering shadow.

Zeus stood stunned—this was no longer the Jack he once knew.

Another resounding crash followed as Athena was hurled back. Her right hand's blade hadn't yet swung at Jack before he kicked it flying into the wall.

Jack's body flickered again, springing forward to strike Tugou's head with a powerful kick, knocking off his mask. Tugou narrowly blocked the blow, escaping being finished off by a single strike.

At that moment, Giant lunged forward, grasping at Jack's arm.

Realizing his kick hadn't ended Tugou, Jack twisted, seizing Giant's arm and pulling with tremendous force. The towering Giant was unceremoniously yanked down. Jack then leapt forward, delivering a fierce stomp aimed at Giant's head.

Just as disaster loomed, a figure crashed into Jack with explosive force. Qintian's slight frame collided with Jack's body, sending him flying.

Jack hit the ground but swiftly unleashed a forceful kick back at Qintian, followed by a crushing punch.

In the blink of an eye, Qintian vanished—only to reappear moments later, landing a brutal punch on Jack's jaw.

The impact lifted Jack off the ground.

At that instant, Pandora surged forward with blazing speed and fury. Her blade, fueled by the sting of Jack's earlier kick, slashed mercilessly.

Jack, suspended in midair by Qintian's strike, could not evade. His eyes blazed with murderous intent as Pandora cursed, "Bastard, prepare to die."

With a clean, slicing sound, Pandora's blade cleaved Jack's body in two.
