"Did you really come out here just to stand and keep quiet?" Robin asked a bit sarcastically, Kai smiled, Robin used to talk to him like that. "Well how about we sit and talk. I will race you for the egg chair..." Before Kai could continue Robin was already sitting in the egg chair, earning a soft laugh from Kai he continued "I guess I lost before the competition started, how about this before I bring any business proposal I want to get to know who Miss Williams is" Kai went for the sofa and sat waiting for what she will say about her life.

"What do you want to know?" Robin asked uninterested.

"Anything at all, anything you wanna share" Kai responded gently.

"Be specific" her answer was short and cold at the same time.

"Well that's a cold reply, I don't know Robin, just anything at all I will listen"

"I didn't give you permission to call me by my first name Mr Arthur" Robin said with a little smile, she wanted this to be difficult for him, she wanted to get him frustrated, she wanted to pay him back for everything he did, for not trying to defend her when she needed him.

"well Miss Williams, I would be happy if you told me a summary about yourself, please don't make it complicated, I can go all day with this questions" Kai said with a calm face and a gently voice, that charming low but muscular voice.

"Fine, I'm Robin Williams, age twenty-five, I'm half American, half European, you already know my father, you don't need to know my mother, I have one friend and only one and that's Audrey, that's all" Robin said looking at Kai with a straight face.

"That's raw, what you gave is something I can find on the internet if I searched, but don't worry I will just ask the specific questions I guess. What's your favorite meal"

"Nacho fries with some salad, cream and red sauce, grape juice as dessert"

"I don't understand why you have to ask that but it's black and favorite song, that's hard to choose but let's see, I will choose three, another love, cinnamon girl and young and beautiful"

"Why these three" Kai asked smiling at his progress, because he felt she was opening up a bit.

"Well, I choose the last two because I really like Lana del Rey's songs and the last one explains lots of things I don't wanna share, Mr Arthur are you done or" Kai notice she was being cold again and so he decided not to push further.

"Favorite country and place"

"Paris, and a place maybe near a sea, I love the sea" and for the first time as she spoke she smiled, that made Kai remember something from his childhood, he had once asked this same question to Robin and she replied the same with the same smile and demeanor.

"Are you Robin" Kai said letting his emotions take over

"Yes my name is Robin, Mr Kai" Robin said, she didn't want him to know she was his childhood friend, at least not now, she hated him for what he did but a little part of her heart was screaming.

"I mean I had a childhood friend, she was my childhood friend, I did something really bad and I lost her, she had same hair as you, same eyes, same name, and fuck it same scar, I recognized that scar, we were playing that day and she wanted to cook, she wanted to do it to surprise her mom on her birthday and while I was helping her, she got burnt by the fire, I took her to the hospital and I remember when that injury later became a scar and how I never forgave myself for it. I remember it, and now you can't deny it, you can't tell me your not my friend from my childhood, just tell me, please tell me" Kai's outburst was not angry, it was desperation, he was desperate to find Robin, he just couldn't hold it in anymore, he didn't want to lose control but Robin just drives him crazy, she ruins his mind and his heart.

"Sorry Mr Arthur but I'm not your childhood friend, or connected anyway in your past, I was home schooled, later I went to England for high school, and later schooled with Audrey in cambridge university, after which, I stayed in Las Vegas untill my return five months ago in Chicago. Please don't bring this up again" Robin finished talking, Kai wanted to say something when Ivy entered the place, she looked old, and her blue dress looked weird on her Robin thought, then another thought crossed her mind, they were the same age but she looked like a mom already.

"Kai! I missed you so much, you never called me and you never picked my calls!!, you are a bad bad bad BROTHER" Ivy was speaking drunk and yelling on the top of her voice, Robin decided this was the best time to leave before things became more awkward, "I will take my leave, please excuse me" she said as she left. "Robin, Robin wait" Kai called out as he tried to follow her, Ivy held his clothes, "Jesus Christ, look at yourself, have some pity and stop drugs, you are even worse than what mom said" he pulled her hand from his clothes and left, trying his best to catch up with Robin.

He felt something was off, she lied about something and he felt it, what convinced him more was that she was his Robin was when she had coughed and when she finished she used her hands to brush her nose, it was a weird thing, Robin used to do and he always laughed at her for how wired it was, and that was not the only thing that assured him, her laugh, her ears turning red when she lied about something, yes her ears turned red when she denied she wasn't Robin from his childhood, but why would she deny it.

He searched the party and still didn't find her, he felt tired but didn't want to gave up.

"Kai, come over here my boy, didn't your mom tell you to come and look for your old man" Robert said with a laugh and, Kai hugged his father, he indeed missed his pops so much. "Good job on getting the girl to sign the deal with us, tell me what did you do?" Kai looked surprised, "Dad what are you talking about?"

"Don't pretend, you did good, her assistant came, signed the deal and they both left the party" Kai's dad said, Kai was confused but he couldn't finish asking questions because he father went to other guest who were around.

Kai decided to leave the party and go for a drive, since Robin wasn't there he didn't feel like staying anymore. He didn't know why Robin will deny but he will wait till she tell him the truth himself.
