Nadi stared at the man's chin, momentarily lost in thought.
Perhaps sensing Nadi's gaze on his chin, Zero took a mask out of his pocket and put it on straight away. In a low voice tinged with impatience, he said, "If you don't trust me, then don't bother wasting time."
Nadi instantly realized her behavior was rather impolite. "I'm sorry about that."
After apologizing, she quickly continued, "I do trust you. But I may not be able to pay you right now. Can I owe you? You can be sure that I'll definitely pay you back..."
On the way, Nadi tried to contact Lili. Oddly enough, her phone couldn't be reached.
At this moment, Nadi was extremely anxious. On one hand, she couldn't borrow any money; on the other hand, she was more worried about Lili.
"No," Zero cut off Nadi bluntly. He raised his head, revealing only a pair of emotionless eyes meeting Nadi's gaze.
