The Mysterious Phone Call

The crisp scent of pine wood wafted into her nostrils.

Nadi's eyelashes fluttered several times like little fans, then she slowly opened her eyes to see a close-up of Adi's face.

Nadi was like a frightened bird, her body suddenly tensing up. Her chest rose and fell a couple of times as she lowered her voice and said with vigilance, "Adi, what do you want to do again!"

Hearing these sharp words, Adi frowned. He looked down and said with a frown, "Nadi, am I really that despicable in your heart?"

He had just seen Nadi sitting limply on the ground with lifeless eyes, and he felt pity for her at that moment.

Although this kind of pity shouldn't exist, by the time he realized it, he had already picked Nadi up.

He was already in a bad mood, and Nadi's rejection made him even more unhappy.
