Charles closed the door after asking Rose the question. He approached her and noticed she was looking at him as if she had seen a ghost. Charles asked her once again what she was doing, but she said nothing, simply putting her nightgown back on. Once ready for bed, Charles stopped her.
— What do you intend to do like that? Or am I talking to the wrong person?
— Charles, please, I’m tired and I don’t want to stress over insignificant things. I already know what you want to tell me, that I said I was tired but I came to the bedroom to call my friends. It’s not my fault and I have to answer my sister if she calls me to check if I got home safely, right?
— So you want to tell me it was your sister you were talking to when I came into this room, is that it? Are you sure if I call your sister, she will confirm that?
— Charles, what’s wrong with you? Is it just because I told you I was tired that you talk to me like this, yelling?
