Flashback On
I’m looking at myself in the mirror, wearing a new school uniform. “Ms. DiNozzo, the car is ready,” my chauffeur said. From now on... I’m a Lakewood Highschool student.
I took a deep breath and sighed. I’m ready. I grabbed my bag and walked downstair. “Morning, Jullie.” My dad greets me as he spreads jam on his bread.
I decided to drink my milk, then sighed. “I’m here for three years, right?” He’s nodding. Great, I think. It’s better to get graduated from this school.
“Don’t make trouble, Jullie.” I hummed. All the maids, butlers, and goons inside this mansion bowed to me, as I walked to the car.

I got out and looked at the school in front of me. “I’ll pick you up at 3.15 PM.” I’m nodding my head, then heading to get inside of this gate.
All the students started to whisper as I walked past them. Why? Haven’t seen an Italian like me? You will be surprised with my Japanese skill.
“Excuse me!” A girl dropped a stack of books in front of me and fell.
I’m kneeling in front of her and helping her. “Th-thank you!” I accidentally touched her hand. I jolted.
“S-sorry.” We’re both said in sync.
“Um... I-I never seen you before. Are you a new student?” She asked. I’m nodding my head, and a small smile draws on my face. Who is this girl? Why am I smiling at her?
“M-my name is...”
I helped her. All eyes looked at us. “My name is... Aihara Rumi. You can call me R-Rumi.” What a beautiful name. Same as the person. Beautiful and kind.
“My name is...” the bell rings. We were chuckling, and she saw my name tag.
“Nice to meet you, Julia! Let’s have lunch together!” I’m smiling and nodding my head. I guess... my time for three years will not be too boring as my relationship with my dad.
I’m following her to the library. “You can... put the book there.” She’s pointing at the old drawer in the corner of the room. I took a deep breath and exhaled.
“You’re not... going to class...”
“Do you want to ask where the teacher room is, don’t you?” I’m nodding my head, chuckled. “Follow me!” I followed her to the teacher's room.
She’s unique. Why am I attracted to her? What kind of spells do you cast on me, Rumi? Were you a witch?

I knocked on her apartment door. “I’m coming!” She unlocked the door. A wide smile draws on her face. She hugged me tight and sniffed.
“Surprised!” I went inside her apartment room.
“How’s your flight, Jullie?” She asked me, as she brewed some coffee for me. She puts two white cups in front of us.
I took a sip and smiled. “They delayed the flight because of... annoyed passengers.” I took a deep breath and held her hand.
I can’t bear it for myself. “Do you know...”
“Oh, wait a minute...” She gets up and walks towards the kitchen. No, it's not a perfect time.

I caught my breath as she stood in front of me. “Are you alright? W-what are you doing here!?” I hurried to give her student ID back.
She’s smiling and chuckled as she looked at her Student ID. “You leave it in my house, so... I followed your bus...”
“You can give it tomorrow.” Right, I can give her Student ID tomorrow at school. What’s wrong with me!? Well, the damage has already been done. I am already running from my house to her.
“Rumi? Who’s there?” I’m looking at a middle-aged woman in front of me. She kept glaring at me.
“S-she’s...” that woman pulled her get inside and slammed the door in front of me. I scratched my hair and walked away.

“Sorry for waiting...” She puts a jar of cookies in front of me. “Fresh baked from the oven.”
Well do it now or not. “I’m here just to ask you a question.” The atmosphere became tense. I gripped my jeans and sighed. “Do you... have time
this weekend? I want to invite you to have dinner with me. M-maybe... we can...”
“Sure. I’m f-free.” We chuckled and smiled. I never expect she will accept my offers. “That’s it? I mean...”
“You still want more?” I raised my eyebrow as I looked at her.
She nodded her head, then sat next to me. She pulled me closed, and our eyes met. My heart was beating in sync with her. I hold my breath, as Rumi is already on top of me. Our lips stick together.
“I like you, Jullie...”
“I also like you...” she smiles. “Since we first met, where everyone stared at us.”
I pinned her to the couch. We continued what we started earlier. As the orange sky turned into dark blue sky. Our coffee and the objects surrounding us become the witness of our passionate kiss.
She let me in, then we’re making love. We moved our body in perfect sync. Just moan came out from our lips as if a sweet melody through our ears. “I love you.” I whispered through her ear, then kissed her shoulder. A soft moan escaped from her thin lips. She pulled me closer and tight.
“I love you too.” She answered. My stomach feels like full of butterflies. I stroked her hair. “What if... we’re having that date tonight, hm? Sounds a plan?”
I did not answer. Our eyes met again and rubbed her cheek gently with my thumb. I took a deep breath and kissed her forehead. “Sounds good. What do you want to order...” Our conversation was halted.
I’m wearing my jeans, then my T-shirt. She wrapped her body with a blanket on the couch, then surrounded her arms on my waist. “I’m going nowhere...” The screen keeps flashing names of the caller: My Editor.
I rejected her call, then changed my focus to the woman in front of me. “Ready for... whoa!” I carried her like a bridal to her bedroom.
I laid her on the bed, then pinned her. “So... where were we?” She’s chuckling. I stared to kiss her passionately. Our tongue danced in sync, then moved to her neck. A soft moan escaped from her lips.

My heart was beating fast as the crowd cheered my name. “Julia... are you ready?” This is it. I walked to the stage as the crowd cheered on my
name.
I’m looking at Rumi, who was standing exactly in front of the stage as she smiled at me. I sang as I played my acoustic guitar and poured my heart out. I hope my feelings have already been delivered to her.
