Episode 2: School

Aizakawa couldn't stop thinking about Mialethra since yesterday—

her face reminded him so much of one of his past lovers.

Because of that, before heading to school, Aizakawa changed his hairstyle and even subtly reshaped his face to look more handsome.

When his mother saw him, she was immediately shocked:

> "Is that you, Aizakawa? You look completely different from yesterday!"

Aizakawa replied casually:

> "Maybe it's just puberty kicking in."

His mother remained stunned by his sudden transformation.

At school, Akazone reported from within the shadows:

> "Be careful, sir. You might be attacked suddenly."

Aizakawa replied instantly:

> "I told you, don't call me 'sir.' Just treat me like a friend.

And don't worry so much about incoming trouble."

As Aizakawa stepped into the school lobby, every girl turned their gaze toward him, mesmerized by his new appearance.

One of them even screamed:

> "Kyaa~ Who is that hot guy?!"

Evros (in Aizakawa's form) panicked and dashed away from the crowd of girls.

He muttered to himself:

> "Geez… I didn't think I'd be this good-looking."

He entered his classroom and came face-to-face with one of his old bullies.

The bully said,

> "Hey… you're Aizakawa? What the heck happened to you?"

Aizakawa replied calmly:

> "And why should I care about your opinion?"

Enraged, the bully tried to punch Aizakawa, but Aizakawa pushed him back effortlessly with just one finger.

Aizakawa said,

> "Wow… This is the guy they call the infamous bully?"

The whole class gasped—

The bully had been launched with just a single finger.

Furious, the bully rushed him again, swinging wildly.

But to Aizakawa, the movements looked slower than a snail.

He blocked all the attacks with one finger again, then struck the bully once—sending him flying across the room.

Everyone—students and teachers—watched in disbelief.

Aizakawa calmly turned to the teacher:

> "Sorry, miss. He started it."

Class continued, and afterward, they apologized to each other.

During break, Aizakawa stepped out of class.

The bullies who used to torment him now looked terrified.

Aizakawa muttered under his breath:

> "Well… at least no one's bothering me anymore… unless…"

Suddenly, a group of girls spotted him and started chasing.

To avoid the crowd, Aizakawa used his invisibility ability and vanished from sight.

He teleported to the school rooftop, sitting alone, lost in thought—

thinking of his past lover…

and how he would destroy the darkness.

But suddenly, someone touched his hand.

Evros was startled—

It was Mialethra, standing right in front of him.

Aizakawa was confused:

> "How did you find me? I disappeared from the crowd completely…"

Then added,

> "You're the one who saved me yesterday."

Mialethra smiled and replied,

> "Sorry if I'm bothering you. My name's Mialethra. We're in the same class, right?

By the way, you do look different today."

Aizakawa smiled back:

> "Yeah. Well then… let's get along, shall we?"

Mialethra responded:

> "Of course."

As the break ended, Aizakawa vanished again to avoid his fans.

Classes wrapped up—

But suddenly, behind a tree, Kagelapan summoned a mantis-shaped monster named Mantis.

The creature appeared in the middle of the schoolyard, sending the entire campus into chaos.

Mantis hurled a massive structure straight toward Mialethra—

And the moment of danger had begun…
