Unexpected Guests

Miranda's POV 

"Incoming!" A childish voice screamed outside, and before I could see who the voice belonged to, Colton's body pinned me to the floor with his. 

I groaned softly, feeling the heaviness from his weight, "You're crushing me!" I tried to push him away but he was too heavy for me. 

Gritting my teeth angrily, I struggled to look at him, and surprisingly, he was staring at me with a silly smile on his face. 

Huh?

What's wrong with him? 

"Can you get up?" I asked, gnashing my teeth. 

"Mm…" He nodded, then moved away from me. My body went light from his weight and I sighed in relief. 

'I almost died there,'

"Take my hand," I heard him say, and I raised up my head to look at him. Colton's hand was stretched in an invitation. 

Although I was a little mad at him for some stuff that happened between us, I still held his hand and got up. I dusted off the dirt on my skirt and glanced at him.
