So, the big day is tomorrow—this book is officially launching!
I sincerely ask everyone to please support the first official subscription!
To be honest, the results of this novel have completely exceeded my expectations—no, scratch that—they've exceeded everyone's expectations.
Back when I first submitted this book, both of my editors didn't think it would do well.
They were polite about it, sure, but the message was clear: "You're writing a story with Sakura as the main character? Haven't people written enough of her already? There's nothing new to say."
And yeah, I totally get where they were coming from.
Sakura has been written, rewritten, and deconstructed in a million different fanfics. Her character has been put under the microscope so often that you'd think there's not a single untold angle left. She's controversial, polarizing, and often the target of fanbase flame wars.
So I didn't expect much.
Honestly, I was writing it for myself—to explore what I think is still untapped potential in her story.
But then something unexpected happened…
It took off.
Not only did people start reading it, they stuck with it.
The momentum built and built, and somehow—miraculously—it got selected for Sanjiang.
For those of you who aren't familiar: Sanjiang is kind of a big deal for webnovel authors. It's a promotion that highlights promising new works—it's like having a spotlight turned on your novel overnight.
So yeah, I hit the jackpot, and I'll be honest, it felt like a dream.
Or maybe just dumb luck.
Probably both.
But with popularity comes backlash.
A lot of backlash.
Let's just say writing a female-led story, especially with Sakura Haruno as the protagonist, is not exactly walking an easy path in the Naruto fanfiction community.
People have opinions.
Strong ones.
Some of the comments were downright vicious.
I don't just mean criticism—that's normal and sometimes helpful. I mean straight-up personal attacks, relentless bashing of the character, and people who were clearly just there to vent hate.
In the past 43 days since the first update went live, I've had to ban 42 trolls from the comment section.
No kidding.
I practically had a ban button on standby.
Eventually, I enabled fan-only commenting with a minimum fan level of 100.
Basically, just toss in a vote (a "monthly ticket") and you're allowed to speak.
It's not about shutting people up completely—it's about making sure the ones who do speak actually care about the story, even if they have criticism.
And honestly?
It's worked.
Sure, the hate didn't stop entirely. But now, there's a lot more love in the mix.
There are readers who genuinely connect with Sakura's struggles. People who understand why I chose to write her this way. People who say, "I never thought I'd like a Sakura-focused fic, but this? This hits differently."
So yeah… I kept going.
And I'm still going.
There's not really much else to say—except that tomorrow, I'm dropping 8000 words to kick off the launch.
That's right: eight. thousand. words.
After that, to maintain story quality and not let things spiral out of control, I'll be aiming for 6000 words per day.
I know that's still a lot. But it feels sustainable for now.
Let's talk expectations for a second.
Some of you may be wondering:
Is there going to be a romance arc?
The answer is:
> The protagonist is single. Single. SINGLE.
Yes, I just said it three times because it's important.
I'm not good at writing romantic subplots.
It's not my forte, and I don't want to force something in just because "every story needs a love line."
That said…
You can't say there's no emotional development at all.
Let's call it "low-key" or "background" emotional tension.
There will be moments—glimpses—but nothing that takes over the story.
This novel is first and foremost about growth, identity, legacy, and the burden of power and expectation.
It's about healing from trauma and choosing your path, even when the world wants to define it for you.
Now, I know some of you noticed that at the start of the story, I hinted at some emotional connections between Sakura and Naruto.
Yeah, that was kind of a spur-of-the-moment decision.
Looking back… I get why it might feel weird or out of place to some of you.
But honestly?
It's not that far removed from canon.
Naruto is a stubborn mule—he doesn't give up on people.
And Sakura? She's been through so much that having someone like him in her life, even briefly as a source of emotional support, doesn't feel like a betrayal of the original story.
But again, don't expect a heavy-handed romance plot between them.
If anything, it's more about friendship, shared pain, and mutual respect in the battlefield.
If I had to sum it up, I'd quote that meme-worthy line:
> "You know what? You're right."
(▼ヘ▼#)
That's the energy I'm bringing into this arc.
—
Oh, and before I wrap this up, I want to do a quick plug for a friend's book.
It's called:
"Battle Through the Heavens: I'm Not Xiao Yan"
This author is a total powerhouse.
They dominated the top 5 of the new books chart and are way more skilled than I am in many aspects.
They told me their book blurb is a mess and they're too lazy to fix it, so I won't bother posting the synopsis here.
But if you're into action-packed, clever takes on classic tropes, give it a shot.
You won't regret it.

That's all for today.
Thanks for sticking with me through this wild ride.
Tomorrow, the real journey begins.
Let's do this together.
I'll keep writing if you keep reading.
See you in Chapter 93!
