Chapter 11Replacement
Sweat ran down the face of the little blue-haired boy. The strange man looked like a devil. Finally, he spoke again.
"So, this is how it's going to go. This little fool that you gave yourself to got me killed. I'm not letting it go that easily." The man's face darkened even more, grinning ear to ear. "I'll take your place in a few days."
The little blue-haired boy's eyes widened. His voice trembled. "W-W-What? No, I can't! This is my place!" The boy opened his palm and summoned a bubble. The strange man felt threatened.
"Oh, you want to fight me? Well… you'll fall to the hands of me, Azael." Azael's grin still rippled on his face.
The blue-haired boy shot the bubble toward Azael. While the bubble was speeding toward him, he opened his hand. Holes from his forearm appeared. Bloody veins slithered down to his hands. More holes came from his palm.
The bloody veins tangled up, forming a long red katana. Azael sliced through the bubble, blood splattering everywhere. The boy's eyes widened, sweat rolling down his face. Crossing his arms, more bubbles started to spread around the area.
The hundreds upon hundreds of bubbles were spinning in a frenzy. The boy dropped his arms. The bubbles stopped. The atmosphere was light. A second later, the bubbles fell at incredible speeds, each bubble being deadly.
Azael couldn't help but smile even more, blood dripping from his face, all of his teeth exposed. The bubbles were inches away from him. But to the boy's horror, the bubbles were popping every time they got close to him. Azael's body was full of little holes, veins shooting out of each of them, popping the bubbles.
The boy gritted his teeth, a fierce look on his face. Getting into a stance, hardened bubbles formed on him. The boy dashed toward Azael, throwing a punch. Azael was caught by surprise. Laughing, Azael blocked the first punch. A bubble formed on the boy's elbow. He pivoted his lead foot, twisting his hips, his elbow aimed for Azael's jaw.
But Azael saw it coming. Stepping back, the boy's elbow whistled in the air. Before he could get back into defense, Azael sent a brutal kick to the boy's stomach. Being sent flying back, blood flowed from his mouth. Trembling, the boy got back into his stance. His eyes widened more. Azael started laughing even more.
The area was full of blood. Not even half of it was the boy's. No, it was Azael's. His blood. The insane man was in pain while fighting, his veins in a frenzy. Summoning more bubbles, the boy created two knights made out of pure hardened bubbles. Both had great long swords with massive shields. Commanding the knights to charge, they rushed in.
Azael walked toward them. "This should be fun!" Getting into a stance, Azael stayed on the defense. The first knight charged to his left. Azael deflected the strike.
The next one came from the middle. The knight lunged forward. Parrying the attack, he struck the knight's liver. The knight deflected the katana with his shield. Azael's face looked dull. Letting out a sigh, "I'm bored, man," the veins from his holes moved like water.
The veins sliced through the bubble knights like butter. The boy, out of fear, made a bubble shield, making more right in front of him. Azael opened his palm, pointing it toward the shields. Veins came from the holes in his palm, forming a ball, then shaping into a sharp diamond.
The diamond shot at the boy, piercing each bubble. It shot through all of them. But Azael didn't hear someone yell in pain.
But he heard a pop. Azael smiled even more. All that was left was a hole in the wall. The boy quickly teleported behind Azael. Feeling the wind flow behind him, he turned around. The boy's fist, which was covered in a bubble shell, punched Azael. Landing the punch, he tried following up with a kick, but Azael grabbed his foot. His nose bled, his eyes bleeding even more.
Gripping his foot even more, crushing it, the boy yelped. While crushing his foot, a shadow appeared behind him. It was another bubble knight.
Azael turned around, his face more serious. Deflecting the strike, Azael grabbed the knight by the head. Lifting up the knight, he crushed the head. The knight's body popped.
Turning back to the boy, a flying bubble-enchanted foot flew to his head. Using his free hand to block it, Azael kicked the boy. Being sent flying, Azael caught up to him. The boy's face was full of horror. Azael grabbed his arm, tossing the boy over his head. At lightning speed, Azael moved his arms in a frenzy, breaking the boy's arm with the speed.
Slamming him into the ground, the boy was a mess. Tears rolled down his eyes, his arm bloody, bones piercing from his skin, bent in different angles. His crushed foot was unrecognizable. Azael loomed over the boy. Grabbing his hair, putting his ear toward his mouth, he said in an irritated tone, "As I said, I'm taking your place. If this fool's body was capable of having two gods, then this would be different."
Azael started the replacement. "Your connection will be lost slowly."
Azael was sitting in the room, bored. Letting out a sigh, he looked at the young boy who was still recovering. "It's been a couple days. How are you still recovering, weakling?"
The boy ignored the man. Putting his hand on his face, Azael decided to have a little fun. A screen popped up in the room. It was a perspective of a young boy. He was running like crazy, doing laps. At least he's training, Azael thought to himself.
While running, a girl with rich golden hair, her white eyes a replica of the moon shining at its brightest. Azael thought that she looked cute. Turning around to the boy with a wide smile, "Please tell me this is his girlfriend!" The boy looked at the man, his face full of tears. "No." Azael frowned, disappointed.
Asking another question, "What's this dude's name?""Shiro," the boy replied.
