On the campus of Montrever Academy, fear is a tradition. A game played every fall night. It's called The Hunt.



Masked girls with neon weapons roam the dark forest, and hundreds of volunteers—boys and girls—run away with bracelets that make them prey. The rules are simple:

They chase you. You run. Or... surrender.



Selena Valkari doesn't just lead the Hunt. She rules it.



The queen in the mask with the red X. No one knows who she is, and anyone who gets too close disappears.



But then he arrives.



Aidan Raine—a new student, with a completely different past and eyes in which she sees something... dangerous. And beautiful.



She must hunt him down. Or maybe she just wants to devour him.
