Moro handed Uvie a baseball bat and blindfolded her. "Let's see if you can crack the watermelon." He spun her around a few times and pushed her out. She started to hear everyone's voice telling her what to do.
"Go left!"
"Go right, then straight ahead!"
"Bury your head in the sand and die painfully!"
"Go to the right 47 degrees and walk forward for about 6 seconds. Then, turn left."
There was too much going on, so Uvie just walked forward and swung her bat. She hit something hard. When she took her blindfold off, she noticed she had hit a rock in the sand. And only a few inches in front of her bat were Calvin's balls. He fell on the ground cause Uvie nearly took his head off with the swing, but she swung down and nearly castrated him.
"What was that?!"
"It was nearly a bonus prize."
"You wanna go?"
"Bring it."
Milk shook her head. "Those two fight like cats and dogs."
Next, the group decided to build sand castles together while Uvie and Lymth left to go get food for them. Moro and Eternity built a sand castle. Eternity got sand in her fur and couldn't shake it all out. "Great."
Suddenly, a bucket of water was launched at their sand castle, and it was instantly destroyed. Moro had an awkward expression on his face. Meanwhile, Eternity's aura began to flare up, and the beach began to shake.
"Woah, Eternity, calm down. I-It's just a sand castle."
"That castle was the castle you and I were going to grow old in."
Eternity looked back to see Willow holding the empty bucket of water. "Oh, my bad. My hand slipped."
Eternity got up. Moro panicked and got up. "Wait, Eternity, it's fine! We'll just build another one. Willow apologizes."
"Why would I do that? Like I said, my hand slipped."
"Are you... really provoking her?"
"Why should that matter? It's not like you'll let her hurt me anyways. I'm just teaching her a lesson."
"What lesson exactly?"
"To not touch what's mine."
"You're making her mad."
Only moments later, Willow was bleeding, had a black eye, and a broken left arm. Don't worry. She was healed.
Later that day, the group gathered around a table to eat lunch together. After lunch, Moro left the group for a little while. He said he needed to get from fresh air. But in truth, he went to an unknown part of the beach. He went there to place the giant Naruon egg in an ocean where no one would see him.
Eternity placed it in for him, since it was too heavy to carry. "There were go."
Honey, are you positive about this? I could still kill it before it hatches."
"It's true that if I screw up this taming process, it could be the end of the world, but that's all good. I just won't screw it up."
"How can you be sure of that?"
"I just am."
"Master Moro... why are you doing this? It's not your responsibility."
"Well... how do I say this... Did you see that Naruon woman's eyes back on pluto?"
"Yeah, I know what you're talking about. She looked desperate to get that egg off the planet. I could tell she wanted it to live."
"It was her goal, her dream to see this child be born. I'm a firm believer that you don't just die with your memories, you die with your hopes, your dreams, and your ambitions. Life is an endless journey, an infinite marathon that you try to get as far as you can. And that woman couldn't run anymore. So, I want to carry her dreams and goals with me."
"But that's not-"
"My responsibility. I know... but I'm doing this because I want to. If things go bad, I know you can kill the things easily. But I want to keep carrying everyone's wishes. Why do you think I took so sowing and gardening?"
"Those are... your mom and dad's favorite pastimes."
"They'll die soon, and I will be the last thing we have to show that my family existed. That legacy is mine to carve. And I'll be doing that by taking their dreams and ambitions further than they could take them in their lives."
"So... cooking, kudo battling, and... Rada. Those are all."
"Right. Each one of those things is a goal of my siblings. The world's greatest chef from my my older sister. Military strategy from my younger brother. And Rada, by her older brother, one and only Kudo. They're all things I took to keep them alive in my heart... Though I wish Rada would accept me as his master already. It's been a decade, and all he does is lie around and do nothing all day."
"I see. Honey, you truly are a kind person... I couldn't be more proud of you."
"Thanks, Eternity. And sorry for roping you into this."
"I am your kudo. My job is to care for, protect, and serve you. I will do so as your friend, your servant, and your wife."
Moro pats her head. "Thank you. Now, let's get back to the others before they start to worry. This thing should hatch at midnight, so we'll take care of it then."
Once they got back, they saw all hell had broken loose. Uvie was yelling at both Calvin and Willow. They were on a broken volleyball court with scorched sand.
"This is all your fault?!" Uvie yelled.
She was about to summon one of her kudos to attack, but with just a nod, Eternity got between them and stopped the fighting just by letting out her full aura.
"Bringing everyone was a mistake."
