Dragon’s Dawn in Chaos (tentative title) is a novel blending science fiction, historical drama, and adventure. It follows Chen Zijian, a physicist obsessed with time travel, who is thrust into the turbulent late Yuan dynasty due to a laboratory accident. Inhabiting the body of a young farmer known as “Seventh Brother,” he finds himself in the village of the young Emperor Hongwu (Zhu Yuanzhang), the future founder of the Ming dynasty. As Chen adapts to this chaotic era, leveraging his modern knowledge and historical insight, a sudden attack by Yuan soldiers results in Hongwu’s death while protecting him, threatening to alter history. Shocked and grieving, Chen resolves to seize Hongwu’s destiny and rise as a leader in the crumbling Yuan dynasty. Beginning with a temporal rift, the story explores fate, ambition, and the reshaping of history, launching an epic journey filled with uncertainty and challenges.
