Which one of you is lying

Four friends were playing a game of horror story telling. One by one they each told their story until at the end of the game they realizes that the people gathered were four but the number of stories told were five. Who was the fifth storyteller? And why did they accuse the gathered people of murder of their late friend whose funeral they attended a week prior?
