Escaped

Officer Daniel relentlessly continued pursuing Boss Danso while barking out orders.

"Stop, or else I will shoot!" Officer Daniel shouted.

Boss Danso looked back and then snorted.

'You won't do such a thing, after all, if you shoot an innocent bystander might get hit,' Boss Danso thought as he weaved through the pedestrians.

"Stop, I say!" Officer Daniel shouted in between breaths.

His breath was labored and he was already furiously panting. His heart felt like it was about to leap out of his chest through his mouth.

'Where the hell is the backup?' Officer Daniel thought internally.

'Damn, that cop is still following me, I've got to lose him, fast,' Boss Danso thought as he dashed into an alley.

"This is Officer Daniel, the suspect has diverted into an alleyway, send backup," Officer Daniel barked into the radio.

"Backup is on the way. You will have support in two minutes, so hold on until then." a voice said through the radio.

'Damn it, why are they taking this long? My heart feels like it is about to give way,' Officer Daniel thought.

In the alleyway Boss Danso saw a few trash cans. He smiled to himself as an idea came into his head.

'This is my chance to lose this cop,' he thought with a smile.

He toppled over the trash cans as he continued running.

Officer Daniel jumped over a few trash cans before tripping on another and falling over face-first.

Seeing that his plan worked, Boss Danso laughed excitedly.

"Take that, you dumb fuck," he shouted.

Boss Danso failed to see the stone before him. Tripping over the stone Boss Danso fell over roughly.

"Damn, fucking karma, fuck your bitch ass," Boss Danso screamed as he stood up and continued running.

Officer Daniel stood up slowly as he continued chasing Boss Danso.

'I... I can't take it anymore, I feel like I'm about to pass out,' Officer Daniel thought.

Looking back, Boss Danso noticed that Officer Daniel had slowed down considerably.

'Good! That guy is finally getting tired,' Boss Danso thought with a smirk.

Seeing a few trash cans lying on the floor, Boss Danso jumped over it.

When Officer Daniel tried jumping over the trash cans he fell over again.

Seeing a fence, Boss Danso quickly scaled over it.

When Officer Daniel got to the fence, Boss Danso was nowhere to be found.

Hunched over, Officer Daniel breathed in, as he tried settling down his erratically beating heart.

The radio which was attached on his waist cracked as a voice came through it.

"Officer Daniel, where are you? Backup is here, where is your location?" The voice asked.

Officer Daniel felt the urge to curse out loud.

'You guys didn't send backup when I was still pursuing him, it is now that I have lost him that you are sending backup,' Officer Daniel thought as his eyes twitched.

"I lost the suspect, sir," Officer Daniel said through the radio.

Meanwhile Boss Danso continued running. He dashed and weaved through alleys as he tried putting as much distance as possible.

After running for a while, Boss Danso crouched behind a dumpster as he breathed heavily.

His clothes were completely soaked from sweat.

Taking out his phone, he dialed a number.

After a few rings, someone picked up.

"Hello! Why didn't you pick? I have been calling you for over ten minutes. Answer me you fool," Amara Nelson shouted.

"Sorry, ma'am, an issue came up so I couldn't pick up your calls," Boss Danso said.

"An issue? What issue is that? Speak up you fool," Amara Nelson shouted, she was clearly irritated.

"Uhm... When we were following those kids, they saw an officer and immediately ran to the officer to report. We had to abandon the mission and run." Boss Danso said.

"You idiots, where are the rest? Are they here with you?" Amara Nelson asked.

"No, ma'am, we split up to avoid getting caught by the officer," Boss Danso said.

"Good, at least your dull brain was smart enough to split up. Are the others safe?" She asked.

"Uhm... no, I called you first to inform you," Boss Danso said.

"You idiot, call them and make sure they weren't caught," Amara Nelson shouted. "Lie low for a while."

"Okay, ma'am, I will call them now," he said.

"And don't call me for a while, if I need you I will be the one to contact you. Am I understood?" Amara Nelson asked.

"Yes ma'am, I understand," Boss Danso said.

Amara Nelson only snorted in response before cutting the call.

As soon as Amara Nelson hung up the phone, Boss Danso erupted into a fit of curses.

"Damn bitch, who the fuck does she think she is? How dare she look down on me? Fuck her, she's a whore, a cheap ass whore, an idiot," Boss Danso continued cursing.

After letting out his anger, he straightened up and then dusted his clothes.

"Ooh! Right, let me call those fools," Boss Danso said as he took out his phone and made a group call.

"Boss!"

"Boss Danso!"

"Boss!"

Boss Danso heard his name being called through the phone.

"You idiots! Why are you shouting my name?" Boss Danso shouted.

"Sorry Boss," they all said.

"Where are you guys?" Boss Danso asked.

After they told him their locations, Boss Danso nodded his head.

"Alright, let us meet up at the warehouse," Boss Danso said before hanging up the phone.

He straightened his clothes as he walked out of the alley while whistling a catchy tone.
