In a galaxy ravaged by the Empire's tyranny, Imperial soldier JM-909, known as "Nine," begins to question his loyalty after witnessing unspeakable horrors and uncovering secrets about the legendary Force and the Jedi. Haunted by a mysterious encounter with a hermit named Ben, and tormented by news of the Death Star's destruction and Alderaan, Nine finds himself at a crossroads. As the Empire attempts to cover up the truth and crush any spark of rebellion, Nine struggles with his conscience and the possibility of a greater destiny. Amidst conflict, lies, and the harsh reality of war, he embarks on a personal journey, seeking the truth and his place in a universe where hope hides in the shadows and the Force whispers a call.
I could tell by the end of the first chapter that this is a descriptive story, but that's about it. the author uses lots or very descriptive words to describe people and the vibe of locations, it makes the story feel hollow and stail like reading an essay. I don't need the deep meaning in someone's eyes or how an imperial ship feels cold and sterile every 3 sentences.
