Hiroki stared blankly at the unfamiliar man who had suddenly appeared before him.
The man's face looked aged, with horns growing from his head and white eyes paired with hair that was a blend of blue and white tones.
Could this really be Hamura Otsutsuki?
"You..." Before Hiroki could finish speaking, the strange man suddenly dove straight into his body.
Internally cursing furiously, Hiroki thought,
What the hell? I've actually been invaded!
He immediately pulled his consciousness into the spiritual world.
Within the spiritual realm, the older man with short blue-white hair stood rooted in place.
Kaguya Otsutsuki, displeased, appeared beside him as well.
Upon seeing her, Hamura's expression flickered briefly before he spoke, "Hamura asked, 'Have you truly broken free from the seal?'"
Grabbing Hiroki and pulling him close, Kaguya glared coldly at Hamura.
"What are your plans now?" Hamura asked again.
"You're already dead—who cares what you think? What can you possibly do?" Kaguya replied emotionlessly.
"That's true," Hamura admitted with a bitter smile. Pleading, he continued, "Brother is gone, and those who harmed you have vanished. As for the humans you once hurt, please stop interfering with their lives."
"You clung to even a shred of chakra just to lecture me like this?" Kaguya gave him an icy stare.
"I originally intended to wait for someone else to stop the Otsutsuki Clan's dangerous ideology, but never expected..."
Realization sparked in Hiroki's mind.
This is pure chakra! If I devour it, wouldn't I gain Hamura's very essence?
It might not compare to the Sage of Six Paths, but surely it wouldn't be too far off.
Eager with anticipation, he tugged at Kaguya's sleeve, but she simply gave him an exasperated sideways glance.
Playing fearless, huh?
Kaguya and Hiroki exchanged glances for a few seconds before Hamura made the first move.
With each step forward, it was as though invisible power steadily built within him, raising his momentum.
Hiroki couldn't help but wonder—did he really need to go this far with just a sliver of chakra?
Is it simply impossible to apply logic where the Otsutsuki Clan is concerned?
Now that he thought about it, they really were strange indeed.
Take Indra and Ashura, for example—they were reincarnations of chakra, yet every new host retained nearly identical personalities to their original forms.
Either Indra and Ashura began influencing their reincarnations from infancy, or their chakra itself was somehow suspect—capable of controlling thoughts or assimilating others.
Hiroki had initially assumed Hamura would challenge Kaguya directly, but instead, Hamura changed direction and charged toward him.
Kaguya let out a cold snort.
Suddenly, a semi-transparent wall rose between them, blocking Hamura's path.
Reacting quickly, Hiroki began exerting control. Moments later came several soft sounds as more transparent walls abruptly formed around other sides.
The walls joined together, forming an enclosed, multi-faceted structure around Hamura.
"What's he trying to do?" Hiroki asked.
Hamura remained silent.
Kaguya sneered. "He wants to fuse with you. That way, he'd gain dominance here and then defeat me."
"How should we handle him?" Hiroki muttered.
He felt a chill of fear—if something like that really happened, would he end up living like someone else, just like Naruto and Sasuke did?
Thinking about this, Hiroki still felt confused. "Kaguya, can one person's chakra influence another's mind?"
"Haven't you heard? Didn't Hayato once do something similar? He distributed chakra, connecting everyone together in an attempt to achieve mutual understanding between people," Kaguya replied lightly.
"I see. So it can have some influence, but not complete unity. That's why Hayato failed."
"Leave him to me. I just happen to have an idea I need to carry out," Kaguya said.
Hiroki nodded.
Then the multifaceted structure continuously shrank until finally it was small enough to fit in one hand. The form Hamura had taken could no longer be maintained—it began to break apart, turning into threads of chakra that flowed into the multifaceted structure.
Kaguya placed the crystal in her palm and vanished along with it. Since it was made of spiritual energy too, she could take it back with her to Kaguya Palace.
"Don't wander around anymore. Let's go to the Box of Ultimate Bliss now."
"Kaguya, what exactly are you planning to do with the Box of Ultimate Bliss?"
"Water, mist, ice—three things that may seem different, but their essence is the same. Heat turns it to mist, cold turns it to ice."
"Chakra works similarly as well. Whether ordinary chakra or tailed beast chakra, their fundamental nature is still chakra. It's just that when they fall into different people's hands, they take on different forms..."
Before she finished speaking, she impatiently took over Hiroki's body control, walked toward the Box of Ultimate Bliss, and began channeling chakra into it...

At the Capital City of the Land of Fire.
Asuma stood in a row with several other Guardian Ninja, welcoming Tsunade's party.
Tsunade slightly nodded as a sign of response.
Seeing Asuma's familiar face, she simply gave him a calm glance.
Asuma watched Tsunade enter the Daimyo's palace with complicated feelings.
Although the events that occurred in Konoha hadn't spread widely yet, some information had already reached the Land of Fire.
He couldn't make heads or tails of it—how could his father, the Third Hokage, be fake? If he were fake, then who was his real father? Could he possibly be some random guy from next door?
Right now, Asuma didn't want to question how Tsunade managed to pin those unsubstantiated accusations on his late father.
His roots and reputation in Konoha were far inferior to Tsunade's. If things escalated, he'd definitely come out worse.
All he wanted to know right now was whether his father was alive or dead in the end.
None of the rumors revealed the final outcome—how had they dealt with that "fake" Third Hokage whose reputation had been ruined?
Inside the meeting hall, the Fire Daimyo looked at Tsunade sitting across from him with noticeable interest, speaking with a smile on his face. "Lady Tsunade—or should I say, Fifth Hokage—congratulations."
From her tone, Tsunade immediately understood the Daimyo had no objections to her becoming Hokage.
Unless the newly-appointed Hokage is anti-Daimyo, the Daimyo usually doesn't interfere with Konoha's internal power transitions.
"Daimyo-sama, aside from matters regarding Konoha, there's another matter I'd like to ask for your support on," Tsunade said, pausing briefly before speaking.
"Speak," the Daimyo replied with a calm smile.
"Daimyo-sama, you've likely heard of the diplomatic and economic cooperation between the Country of Hot Springs and the Country of Frost. I hope the Land of Fire can establish diplomatic relations with these two nations and form an economic alliance."
The Daimyo's expression grew contemplative as he spoke in a measured tone, "Hokage, during those years when the Hot Water Daimyo was assassinated, I received a letter from him stating that you were the one who convinced him to help deal with Jiraiya..."
"That's correct," Tsunade nodded openly. "I have a good working relationship with the Hot Water Daimyo, which is precisely why I want to avoid any future conflict between the Land of Fire and the Country of Hot Springs."
