Laws of Becoming

Bassoon had never been a place of rules.

But now, with Ginen merged into its roots, and the doors to godhood and demonhood swung wide, balance demanded structure. Not domination. Not oppression.

Structure—so the world would not unravel under the weight of too many thrones.

And so, as Zion sat upon the Throne of Crossed Realms, a Revelation echoed across the skies of Bassoon. Not a command—but a truth spoken by Ginen itself.

🌓 The Mandate of the Dual World

"Power must grow. But it must grow with law. Not the laws of control—but the laws of identity."

—Ginen

All gods and demons in Bassoon would be allowed to act freely.

But from this moment on, their essence must be anchored by purpose, and their actions guided by law—or else be stripped of their title and cast into the Void Between Flames, a prison where neither prayer nor curse can reach.

🔆 The Laws for All Gods in Bassoon

No God May Take Without Consent

Power drawn from mortals must be freely offered—through prayer, ritual, or covenant.

Gods Must Anchor Their Domain

Each god must root themselves to one aspect of the world (e.g., love, war, memory, sea, silence). They may expand it—but not abandon it.

Divine Conflict Must Be Declared Openly

Gods cannot wage shadow wars. Divine disputes must be marked by public sigils and watched by neutral witnesses (often humans or prophets).

Mortals May Refuse

No god may destroy a mortal for denying worship. The path of the divine is persuasion, not conquest.

Ascension Must Be Earned

To elevate another to godhood, one must first complete a "cycle" of their domain—perfect understanding and embodiment of its truth.

🌑 The Laws for All Demon Gods in Bassoon

No Demon May Break Without Balance

Destruction, transformation, or corruption of mortals must come with purpose. Chaos without intention is forbidden.

Demonhood Must Be Claimed Through Challenge

All new demons must pass a Trial of Truth—facing their worst self and emerging intact.

A Demon May Not Enslave the Soul

Influence over mortals is allowed—but domination that strips will is now forbidden within Bassoon.

Demon Conflicts Are Sacred

Demons may duel or war, but not deceive each other with false alliances. Lies lead to decay, decay leads to void.

Only the Crossroad May Judge Both

If a demon breaks the law of Bassoon, they must stand before the Crossroad itself—now watched once again by Papa Legba.

🔥 The Gathering Begins

All around Bassoon, shrines rise, temples breathe, forges awaken, and ancient bones stir.

Gods begin building their Domains of Influence—places that pulse with the energy of their truth.

Demons begin carving their Hells Within Earth—not as prisons, but sanctuaries of those willing to walk darker paths with purpose.

The mortal world watches in awe and fear.

👁️ Zion Watches All

Zion, now known as "The Paradox Crown", walks both paths. Neither god nor demon can claim him. All must speak his name with respect or face silence from Ginen itself.

He offers no decree. Only a warning:

"If you make this world bleed… you will clean it with your own hands."
