Part 2: Up to the Academy Gates
Location: Arkalis Dominion Academy – Outer Walls → Central Court
---
[Opening Scene – Morning, Outside Arkalis Academy's Outer Walls]
Arshan stood slowly in front of the academy gates.
Towering mana-sealed gates stood before him —
three glowing circles rotating across different layers,
each layer inscribed with spells that constantly shape-shifted.
This was no ordinary place.
The mana vibrations were so intense that most normal people
couldn't stand near the gates for long.
> Zyana (softly):
"This is Arkalis Academy's primary shield.
Every candidate must prove they can cross the threshold spell."
Arshan (confused):
"But I haven't even submitted an admission form…"
Zyana smiled gently.
> Zyana:
"Maybe… you won't need one."
---
[Scene 2 – First Glimpse of the Academy]
As the gate opened, Arshan passed through a tunnel of dim glowing light.
Inside — was a massive mana-crafted courtyard.
Dozens of students walked around in distinct uniforms.
Flying platforms, training zones, combat simulators,
and spell-circle practice areas were all arranged in perfect order.
Suddenly, a heavy wave of mana pressure hit…
A tall figure in a jet-black robe, with long silver hair,
descended from the academy tower and landed on the ground.
Professor Veyron.
His name alone was legendary.
---
[Scene 3 – The Encounter with Professor Veyron]
All eyes turned toward him —
A figure who only appeared to teach, never to interact.
No one dared meet his gaze.
But today…
His eyes locked directly onto Arshan.
Veyron paused.
His glowing purple eyes scanned Arshan —
as if peering deep into his soul.
And then… something happened that had never happened before.
Veyron smiled.
The crowd of students was stunned.
> Veyron:
"You… who are you?"
Arshan (nervous but firm):
"I'm… an outsider. I've come to learn."
The professor thought for a few seconds…
and then, in front of everyone, declared:
> Veyron:
"From this day forward…
you will train under me — personally."
Everything froze.
Silence gripped the courtyard.
---
[Scene 4 – Crowd Reaction + Public Declaration]
Another professor, surprised, blurted out:
> Professor:
"But sir… you've never taken a student before…"
> Veyron (firmly):
"Because I never found anyone worthy.
But this boy… has something."
On the ground, reactions erupted among the students:
Some were shocked.
Some stood with mouths agape.
Others had envy in their eyes.
> Zyana (internally to Arshan):
"Congratulations, Arshan.
You've made history."
Arshan (to himself):
"I just came to observe…
How did things escalate so fast?"
---
[Scene 5 – Training Room Introduction]
The next day, Arshan was taken to a private training zone —
filled with mana-injected rocks, aerial defense simulators,
and ancient scroll-based weaponry.
> Veyron:
"Starting today, you'll learn your first step.
Mana Flow Control,
Close Combat under Mana Weight,
Spell Focus —
and if you survive…
Reality Compression."
Arshan (quietly):
"Reality… compression?"
Veyron only gave a small smile.
In that smile… was both a warning and a promise.
---
[Scene 6 – Hidden Meaning, Zyana's Talk]
After training, Arshan was exhausted —
his breathing heavy, his body trembling under the strain.
Zyana gave him a soft echo on his shoulder:
> Zyana:
"What you've chosen… won't be easy.
But under Veyron, you can become someone
capable of changing the world's system."
Arshan collapsed onto the ground —
covered in sweat, shaking from mana exhaustion.
But in his eyes — there was a spark.
---
[Scene 7 – Rumors Begin Inside the Academy]
Later that night in the academy mess hall, whispers spread:
> "Veyron took a student?"
"Who is this outsider?"
"Maybe his system is artificially boosted…"
"He's already overshadowing the royal students…"
A shady student sitting in a dark corner muttered:
> "Whatever he is…
if he's training under Veyron,
he'll interfere with our plans."
Foreshadowing:
Some individuals within the academy
are secretly connected to an evil magician group.
