Rewards (Part 2)

With the constellation gone, everyone got back to their plans, and the process of leaving the college was already in motion.

Thanks to this, there were already more than fifty people at level ten and were ready to level up, which was a great win, and the rest were on their way to level fifteen to gain their grade.

The fact that a constellation descended on the planet was more than a surprise to them. But it came with its rewards.

Now, all they needed to do was a swift sweep of the college, to check for more survivors, take some more rations for the road and head out of the college.

Zayden took this chance to review the numerous system messages that had appeared before.

[Special Quest: Defeat Dorm Bosses Completed]

[Reward: Faction Creation Token]

When he saw this message, a smile broke out on Zayden's mouth. The faction creation token was the first step to getting a foothold in this apocalypse.

As the name suggests, a faction creation token would help one to create a faction. Factions were essentially groups of people who received significant support from the world and the system.

From EXP sharing to transfer of material and many other things, could all be seen in a faction.

At this point in the apocalypse, Zayden was still in the gym, so he had no knowledge of any faction, but by the time they left the college, there were already more than twenty factions in the whole world.

So Zayden didn't know if creating a faction now would make him the first. But one thing he was sure of was that he was way stronger than most of the people on the planet.

Most of the people, because he hadn't seen some of them, and didn't know how strong they were. But from his memories, he remembered the strengths of most of the strongest people in the world. And though he didn't think of himself as the strongest, he should be among the strongest.

Anyway, this was important later in the future. Because without strength, forming a faction was more of a curse than a blessing.

Now, to form a faction, one needed at least ten people who had already evolved, which was not a problem for Zayden and a shelter to be the base of said faction.

He could have used the college as his shelter, but Zayden had other plans in mind, and the college would be too big to protect.

With all his thoughts arranged, Zayden began to look at his other rewards.

[Urgent Quest: Defeat Constellation "Completed"]

[Reward: Key to Heritage Planet]

Zayden was confused. He never had any memories of something like this, but since it was a reward, it should be good.

Zayden smashed the green orb, and a golden marble appeared in front of him. Without wasting any time, he checked the description of the marble.

[Key to Heritage Planet]

[Rank: ???]

[Description: A heritage planet is a planet created by the ancestors of the ??? Clan to help in the growth of their heirs. One has to go to Heritage Planet and complete the Heritage Quest to be eligible for the title of the Heir of the ??? Clan]

Zayden was stumped. From what he got out of this message, he was a member of some clan that he didn't have the liberty of knowing the name as of yet, and they were strong enough to create a whole planet to facilitate the growth of their heirs.

Confusion colored his face because this wasn't what he was expecting. So many questions popped up in his mind, like, was he a human? Who were his real parents? What is this unknown clan??

Alas, there was nobody to answer any of his questions, so he had to keep it to himself. Even though he was confused didn't mean that he wouldn't accept it.

He needed to get stronger, and if this heritage planet was going to make him stronger, then of course he was going to go there. But first, there were some things that he needed to do.

[Blessings: Two Times Thought Processing Speed (Lv 3), Sealed, Sealed]

Well, there was a massive change in his stat screen since the last time he saw it (Chapter 16). For one, even though his stats weren't over the roof, they were still very high. His agility was more than fifty.

The only thing was that his soul power didn't increase. Even now, he had no idea of how he could increase his soul power. But he wasn't worried about that.

Next were his skills. Now, due to the formation of his law Neiden, he had a massive increase in his cosmic energy, and he managed to learn the basic skills of darkness.

The law Neiden not only pushed him up by two tiers, but it also gave him skills. It was like he already knew about the formation of said skill down to the final atom. So there was no need for him to create these skills; they just came to him.

One thing he had never understood was the blessings. He never saw the use of the blessings, so he never actively used the blessings, but to his utmost surprise, one of the blessings managed to increase by two levels.

And even he still knew nothing about the blessings. The questions that he had at the moment were so many that they could build a mountain, but there was no one to answer any of his questions.

"Bro, guess what?"

Tyrel ran to Zayden like an excited kid, only to meet Zayden's questioning gaze.

"What the hell would make a grown man skip like a little girl?" Zayden mocked, but Tyrel didn't seem to get that, the smile on his face unconcealed.

"I became the chosen of Zeus"

Zayden's mind went blank for a few minutes, then a smile of happiness appeared on his face. From what he remembered, there was no chosen of Zeus.

And now that he thought about it, maybe it was because Tyrel died so early in the apocalypse, and Zeus didn't see anybody talented enough to make his chosen on this planet. At least, he chose people as apostles, but he never had a chosen compared to the rest of Olympus.

"That's cool, dude, but I became an heir, and I did that way before you"

Zayden smirked, and the smile that was on the face of Tyrel disappeared.

"Can't you let a dude have his moment?"

Tyrel sulked, but almost immediately, a serious expression appeared on his face.

"Have you seen that Lucas guy?"

Zayden didn't think about it, but since he came back from battling the Umbra Serpent, he had not seen Lucas. He didn't notice it, because Lucas wasn't a main character in both lives, so there was no problem for now.

Seeing the confusion on the face of Zayden, the frown on Tyrel's face deepened.

"I can't shake off the feeling that Lucas is going to give us a lot of trouble"

Tyrel made his thoughts known to Zayden. He had never liked Lucas, and he was sure that Lucas didn't die; after all, they didn't see any dead bodies. He wanted to keep an eye on Lucas, but the battle against the lightning null caught his attention; he looked away for a few minutes, and the parasite was gone.

"No need to stress yourself, if he comes, we'll put him in his place"

Zayden assured Tyrel.

"If you say so, but if I catch that guy before you do, I'll make sure to kill him"

Zayden was surprised at the words that Tyrel spoke, then he knew that this was more than a gut feeling; something had happened between Lucas and Tyrel before that made Lucas so wary of Tyrel.

Tyrel said his piece and left. After all, he needed to look for some materials to attempt his Class Up.

Not just Tyrel, but also the rest of the main team were ready to class up. And to Zayden's surprise, they were all chosen, except Soren. Soren was to become the apostle of the Furious Monkey Constellation.

Dare ran to Zayden, bringing with him a report.

"We found some more survivors in the main auditorium, but there seems to be a problem"

Zayden frowned.
