Chapter 88 – Akeno: I Won, But It’s Not a Full Jackpot

The God of the Bible probably understood demons even better than the demons themselves. As for the Fallen Angels, there was even less to say. Fallen Angels only existed because Azazel wanted to "ghs" and fell. Essentially, they split off from angels. A lot of things about them were still tied to angels. Fallen Angels are basically angels too.

Because of this, whether it's demons or Fallen Angels, the God of the Bible had studied both in depth. That's why, once Takumi inherited everything left by the God of the Bible, there was no need to visit the Underworld. He had everything he needed.

Rias was at a loss. So she really just lacked experience.

"So you've basically wrapped everything up, huh, Takumi? Seriously, you always make headlines every time you visit a world."

Kaguya gave a sidelong glance at this troublemaker. She'd joined the group late, but the others had told her all about Takumi's exploits. It was honestly ridiculous—he was always stirring things up.

"It's all for civilization!" Takumi declared, dead serious.

...

Hearing him say that, both Kaguya and Akeno went silent. If they didn't know the truth, they might have believed him! The truth was, it was all for getting stronger. The "for civilization" bit was secondary. The main goal was strength. And, of course, girls.

Kaguya looked over at Ophis, who always quietly followed Takumi. He really had managed to "snatch" her, and she couldn't help but be a little envious. Ophis's power was unquestionable, and now she followed Takumi around like a daughter. To be honest, Takumi had already brought back a lot of lolis from his world, not to mention the Dark Loli World and the many magical girls from Yu's world—all mostly lolis. Now even Ophis was being brought home.

"Loli-con?" Kaguya asked without thinking.

"Nonsense! I'm not a loli-con! Don't slander me!"

Takumi immediately got flustered.

"If you're not, why are you bringing home so many lolis? There's the Dark Loli World, Yu's world, and now Ophis. Look at them—they're all lolis, aren't they?"

Kaguya stared at Takumi more and more suspiciously. He really did seem like a hentai loli-con.

"That's ridiculous! Ophis is old enough to be your great-great-great-grandmother! They only look like lolis. It's not the same."

Kaguya just shrugged. It was pointless to argue—she wasn't convinced either way.

Ophis glanced at Takumi, too. So, is this why he helped her—because he liked her current appearance?

Now there was no way to explain it. Everyone in the room started looking at Takumi with strange expressions.

"Don't look at me like that. I'm really not! If you don't believe me, you can come check tonight—my preferences are totally normal!"

Takumi and Kaguya immediately started bickering. Akeno watched with an amused smile. Neither of them cared much about the subject—it was just their daily banter. Once they were done, they'd move on to playing games.

Rias observed their squabbling with curiosity. Takumi didn't feel like a typical powerhouse—he was surprisingly easygoing. Were people from other worlds all like this? Rias became even more curious about him.

Takumi and Kaguya quarreled for a bit, then started gaming together. Akeno took that as her cue to leave with Rias and the others—they needed to rest.

Later, Takumi and Kaguya showed up in the chat group to check in. By now, Takumi had racked up over 4000 points.

"Damn it! GDX, can't you upload all the games at once? I've spent all my points buying your games lately!"

Kaguya checked her balance, grumbling. This GDX kept splitting up the games for upload, and now the other members were doing the same. Especially Mikoto Suoh, who'd uploaded a bunch of games too—his world was high-tech, so there were plenty to share. He said he wanted to earn points to heal his body, so this was the only way. It was frustrating—everyone was using games to swindle her points. Damned annoying!

"The points system isn't my idea. If you want to complain, blame the chat group!" Takumi replied, delighted with his own check-in bonus.

"I'm done buying! I'll save up my points and just download directly from your world instead!"

Kaguya angrily tossed her controller. All her check-in points lately had gone to games. She'd said this before, but Takumi didn't mind. Kaguya would say she was done buying, but she'd still buy anyway. Koneko had been thrilled ever since Kaguya joined, because there were so many more games to play—if only she didn't have school, she'd have stayed up all night.

[Group member 'Akeno' has checked in successfully.]

[Congratulations to 'Akeno' for obtaining: Superpower – Railgun.]

Suddenly, a message popped up in the group.

Chika Fujiwara:

[No way!! Akeno, you actually got something?]

Sagiri:

[Wow, second high-value prize in the group!]

Bronya:

[Damn, a superpower?]

Other group members checking in were all buzzing.

Takumi was a bit surprised, too.

"That's Railgun's ability, right? Not bad!" He stroked his chin. He knew what it was as soon as he saw the name—pretty recognizable.

Still, the odds of getting anything from this system were way too low.

Akeno:

[It's not much of a boost… I can already control lightning. If you give me some time, I could figure out similar techniques myself.]

But Akeno felt a little let down. The superpower didn't do as much for her as she'd expected. She was a half-human, half-Fallen Angel, and her father was a ten-winged Fallen Angel who specialized in lightning. As his daughter, she'd inherited a lot of those abilities. So this "Railgun" power was honestly not that useful—just a different application of lightning. It was a little disappointing. The good news was that she'd won something; the bad news was that the prize wasn't all that great.
