Chapter 122: One Himeko, Two Himekos, Three Himekos

Takumi noticed Himeko's gaze. He smiled at her warmly.

After closely observing her condition, Takumi couldn't help but say: "Miss Himeko, your body condition really isn't looking too good." "You're like a candle flickering in the wind."

With this close inspection, Takumi finally understood how dire her situation truly was.

"It's fine. As long as I'm still alive," Himeko replied, unconcerned. She was fully aware of her own condition. Each day she lived was a gift. As long as she was alive, that was enough.

"Give me your hand." Takumi looked at Himeko and spoke with a firm tone.

Himeko blinked, slightly confused. "What are you doing?" She didn't quite understand what Takumi was up to.

"I promised another Himeko that I would help you. That's also why Mei asked me to come."

Himeko was stunned. She turned to look at Mei.

Mei, worried, quickly nodded. "Yes, Aunt Himeko." Her face was filled with concern. She was really afraid Himeko would just never wake up one day. To Mei, Himeko was someone she deeply respected.

Hearing this, Himeko smiled faintly. Just as she was about to respond, a spatial rift suddenly opened next to Takumi and the others.

Out stepped another Himeko—dressed in fine clothes, looking even younger than the one already present.

Takumi was stunned at the sight. "Himeko? What are you doing here?" He was genuinely surprised.

"I just checked the group chat a little late, and you all had already left," the younger Himeko said. "So I had no choice but to come through like this. Luckily, I still had some points."

"Old Yang wanted to come too, but I couldn't bring him along." She sounded a bit regretful.

But this wasn't Old Yang's timeline, was it? He should still be alive and well. Probably a different timeline, huh?

Parallel worlds.

She didn't think too hard about it. Her gaze shifted to the other version of herself.

Everyone else stared with wide eyes. Theresa and Bronya were both dumbfounded.

"Wha-wha-what? Another Himeko?!"

Even the original Himeko looked dazed at the younger version of herself.

"We finally meet. Looks like we finally have a chance." The younger Himeko beamed and greeted her counterpart.

The elder Himeko smiled in return. "Hello! I'm Murata Himeko. Also a Himeko!"

The younger Himeko nodded. "I'm also Himeko."

They shook hands. Takumi, recognizing the iconic moment, quickly snapped a picture.

"Young Himeko!! Wow!! What's going on today?! First a grown-up Bronya, now a young Himeko?!"

Theresa was close to losing it. What in the world was happening? Was world-hopping really this easy for everyone?

"Yeah, they're Himekos from different worlds." "There's a Himeko in my world too—slightly older than this one."

Stay calm. This sort of thing happens all the time. Lots of Himekos out there. One Himeko, two Himekos, three Himekos. Nothing wrong with that.

Theresa now had a bunch of question marks on her face. Hmm… could there be multiple versions of her too? She was strangely curious now.

Takumi ignored everyone and turned to Murata Himeko. "Alright, let me treat you first."

Not waiting for her response, Takumi immediately activated his powers and began healing her.

He repaired every damaged cell in her body. Even those eroded by Honkai energy.

"Maybe you should visit World Serpent and ask Mobius to perform a hyper-evolution surgery."

"If they see Himeko, I'm sure they'll be very interested."

Looking at Murata Himeko's condition, Takumi suggested it casually.

Both Himekos paused.

The newer Himeko from Honkai: Star Rail nodded thoughtfully.

"That might actually work."

After all, this Himeko looked exactly like the pre-civilization Himiko.

Sending her to undergo a hyper-evolution shouldn't be a problem. Mobius would definitely be interested.

Murata Himeko, meanwhile, looked completely confused. What were they even talking about?

"But let's put that aside for now. I came here for another reason." Takumi's expression turned hopeful.

After finishing the healing, Takumi finally withdrew his hand.

"Thank you! I feel lighter than ever." Himeko quickly expressed her gratitude.

For the first time, she felt completely at ease. Her wounds had truly healed. She couldn't stop smiling. This was amazing.

"No problem. Just don't get into any battles for now. Otherwise, your body won't hold out."

Takumi hadn't done anything weird. Just some basic repairs.

As long as she didn't fight, she could easily live to 99.

"I doubt that's possible. Here, take this. Inject it."

Honkai Himeko knew exactly what this Himeko was thinking. After all, they were the same person.

She handed over a vial to Murata Himeko.

Takumi's eyes widened.

"Superpower Awakening Serum?!" Wasn't that the serum he gave to Himeko?

"Yep. I only gave Herta two vials. The rest I kept. But they've started mass production over there."

She looked at Takumi with a teasing smile.

"Looks like I might be your business rival soon."

Takumi rolled his eyes at her joke. He didn't believe it.

Murata Himeko looked at the serum in her hand, surprised. She glanced at her alternate self but didn't ask anything.

Instead, she injected it straight into her arm.

She had heard everything earlier.

Superpower Awakening Serum. Just from the name, she could tell it would awaken special abilities.

And she trusted her other self.

Perhaps it was destiny.

Once she injected it, power began surging within her—identical to the Himeko standing before her.

A power that let her control flames.

Feeling the new force coursing through her body like a natural extension of herself, Murata Himeko was left in awe.
