Chapter 139: If Kallen Had Just Said to Otto, “Let’s Save the World”

"Unbelievable... So many Herrschers gathered here?" "Looks like you really pulled it off, Elysia."

A calm, melodious voice echoed as a woman with dark red hair and golden eyes slowly stepped forward. Her voice carried a gentle and mature air—this was Eden, the one who bore the Sigil of 'Gold.'

Following behind her was a beautiful girl who resembled Yae Sakura closely. She too was named Sakura, the bearer of the 'Moment' Sigil.

Next came Kosma with the 'Daybreak' Sigil, Hua with the 'Vicissitude' Sigil, Kevin with the 'Deliverance' Sigil, and Su with the 'Wisdom' Sigil.

The Thirteen Flame-Chasers had all gathered.

Those who had arrived at the Elysian Realm were taken aback by the sight. When the Kevin and Hua from within the Elysian Realm saw their counterparts, they immediately merged into one being, sharing all that had transpired within the realm. Though they would still leave behind a presence if they left, now that there were two of them, fusion was natural.

"Remarkable, truly." "Elysia, looks like your plan was a success." "But this gentleman here... You seem rather dangerous." "You possess the powers of many Herrschers, don't you?" "Would you let me study you—just a little?"

Mobius's gaze swept across the group, ultimately settling on Takumi. Of everyone present, she was most intrigued by him. The Honkai energy he radiated was intense—almost overwhelming.

The Elysian Realm, aside from being their resting place, also served as an immense diagnostic instrument. Thanks to this, Mobius could clearly read Takumi's condition.

"There's nothing to study." "Aside from a few missing abilities, I've got all the Herrscher powers you've ever encountered." "You've already researched this, haven't you?" "And frankly, I have no intention of ending up on your operating table." "If anyone's getting dissected, it's Himeko."

With that, Takumi promptly pushed Himeko forward.

Himeko blinked, confused.

Mobius raised an eyebrow and glanced at the woman who looked strikingly like Belobog's Himeko.

"Let's perform a hyper-evolution surgery on her." "She's a stubborn one—a woman willing to sacrifice herself for her students surely has the willpower to survive it."

Takumi didn't bother with further explanation. He simply told Mobius to operate on Himeko.

"I'm happy to do it," Mobius grinned. "But are you sure you don't want me to examine you? You're far more fascinating."

Takumi rolled his eyes.

"I refuse." "But if you're interested, why not come with me? I'll take you out of this world."

The Flame-Chasers all turned toward him, eyes sharp. Even Kevin was surprised.

So this had been Takumi's goal all along?

"A different bubble universe? You want to take me with you?" Mobius tilted her head.

"Not a bubble universe," Takumi clarified. "A world outside the Tree." "I'm here specifically to recruit top scientists—like you, Vil-V, or even Elysia." "I'm also a part of Honkai, but different from the one in your world."

"In your world, Honkai exists to test and reject civilizations." "In mine, it's tied to civilization. The stronger the civilization, the stronger I become." "And so does the world."

"You could say I'm fundamentally different from your Honkai." "That's why I need brilliant minds like yours."

Takumi was completely candid about his objective.

The Flame-Chasers were dumbfounded.

"Mutual symbiosis with civilization?" "And a world beyond the Tree...?"

"Fascinating!" Mobius's eyes gleamed with excitement. Her curiosity burned brighter than ever. She truly wanted to leave with him.

"So, will you come?" Takumi took the chance to press further.

Mobius shook her head.

"Tempting, but I can't go now. I'm just a remnant memory."

"No worries!" "All I need is a physical vessel. I can revive you." "It's not scientific—it's magical." "I just need to summon your soul and give you a new body." "Even if you're not the original, I can still recreate you."

Takumi met her gaze calmly.

All that mattered was their willingness to come with him.

The body? That was the easy part.

Mobius narrowed her eyes. "You sure know a lot."

"Of course I do. I know everything about your world." Takumi said with complete confidence.

"Then—did we defeat the Finality? Did we drive out the Honkai?"

Elysia had somehow slipped over and joined the conversation.

She had been quietly listening the whole time, but now she looked at Takumi, eyes full of curiosity.

"If I hadn't appeared, Kiana would've been the one to inherit Finality." "And yes, Honkai would've been repelled." "You would've entrusted your power to Mei."

Takumi replied nonchalantly.

Elysia blinked, then smiled.

"I see... So that's how it would've gone."

The others widened their eyes.

"But you did appear," Kevin interjected.

He frowned, staring hard at Takumi.

Takumi had just said, if he hadn't appeared.

But here he was.

The rest began to realize as well—yes, Takumi had changed everything.

"Well, I did show up." "Your world's Honkai seems oddly fond of me." "I'll take a look before I go." "Besides, with so many Herrschers fighting for humanity now, what's there to fear?" "It's not a big deal."

"And don't forget, there's still a war god out there battling Honkai." "Just find someone to go tell Kallen, 'The world needs you and Otto to save it.'" "Then send them both off to save the world together."

"After all, Otto's the kind of guy who'd punch the Tree directly!"

Honestly, if Kallen had just told Otto that one line—

"I want to see a world without Honkai."

…Honkai might have been destroyed long ago.

Pure-hearted War God Kallen was no joke.
