Takumi gathered everything he needed and began to return.
Once he arrived back in the Konosuba world, the first thing he saw were several people tied up and hanging. Hiding a smile, Kaguya-hime looked over at them cheerfully.
Takumi was stunned by the scene.
Weren't those members of Night Raid? Why were they all hanging there?
He was speechless.
"You're back? How did things go on your side? These guys wouldn't listen, so I had to tie them up," Kaguya-hime greeted him with her usual bright smile.
Takumi could only smile wryly.
All the members of Night Raid were here, each of them gagged and hanging helplessly. They could only glare angrily at Kaguya, but there was nothing they could do. The woman before them was not someone they could match.
When they first encountered her, they hadn't even had time to react before getting knocked out. By the time they woke up, they were already strung up. With such strength, how were they supposed to fight back?
Takumi stepped forward and removed the gags from their mouths.
"Was what you just said true?" Night Raid's leader, Najenda, fixed her eyes on Kaguya.
Takumi was slightly surprised.
"Did you explain it to them?"
Kaguya nodded.
"I did. But they didn't really believe me," she shrugged.
Takumi turned his gaze to the Night Raid members.
"Since Kaguya-hime has already explained things to you, you should understand the current situation. I just returned from your world. I was planning to find you, but it seems you were transferred here ahead of time. Your world is currently undergoing a major cleansing. The Empire has been destroyed. The Revolutionary Army too. Once the new world fusion is complete, you'll have to figure things out for yourselves. After all, anyone who could be eliminated wasn't a good person."
He said this calmly, showing no emotional fluctuation.
Sure, many were wiped out—but Takumi hadn't lifted a finger himself. So, he felt no guilt whatsoever.
The Night Raid members were dumbfounded.
"The Capital's gone? The Revolutionary Army too?" Leone stared at him in disbelief.
"I don't have time to joke," Takumi replied. "That's the reality. Anyway, untie them. With gods in this world after the fusion, you'd best take care of yourselves. When this newly fused world merges with mine, if you feel like you can't manage here, you're welcome to come live in my world."
He snapped his fingers.
The Night Raid members fell to the ground, and the ropes automatically loosened.
Having done this, Takumi turned his eyes to Kaguya-hime.
"Where is everyone else?"
Only Kaguya-hime was here; the others were nowhere in sight.
"They went elsewhere," she explained. "Monsters have started appearing in various places across the world, so the goddesses have mobilized. Eris used spatial magic to send them to other areas. I'm responsible for this side."
Takumi nodded. That made sense.
Glancing at the members of Night Raid, Takumi spoke again:
"I'll leave this area to you. I'm going to see if I can get to Ais' world."
He left without further delay.
He once again headed to the dimensional rift.
But this time, someone had beaten him there.
It was Shiroyasha.
Seeing Takumi, Shiroyasha smiled and spoke:
"Interesting, isn't it? Looks like quite a few worlds are merging now. One there, another over there… Though a bit far, I did a quick count—it seems there are six worlds in total."
She had been here for some time, observing the phenomenon.
In her eyes, world fusion resembled two massive orbs of light slowly pressing into one another, gradually merging. It was fascinating.
Now Takumi had arrived.
"Hmm… I'm thinking of checking out some of the other worlds. See what they're like. Want to come along?"
He looked at Shiroyasha.
She nodded.
"I'll head to that one over there. I have a feeling it has some strong opponents. I'll check it out—you can go to another."
She would definitely go, just not to the same world as Takumi.
Takumi nodded.
He surveyed the dimensional situation, thought for a moment, and added:
"Let's keep in touch through the group chat."
With that, he turned and left.
Unfortunately, only Shiroyasha had the strength to enter this place.
The others weren't strong enough yet. If they were, they too could explore the other worlds.
This time, six worlds were merging.
Takumi could feel that more than one of them contained immense power.
The three he already knew—Konosuba, Akame, and DanMachi—weren't particularly powerful.
So what about the remaining three?
One Shiroyasha was heading toward. Two others remained unknown.
They'd need to be properly investigated.
First, Takumi decided to visit Ais' world.
With that in mind, he set off.
He traveled to the nearest world.
It was similar to the Konosuba world, just slightly stronger and exuding a more intense divine presence. While other worlds had divine energy too, this one was still closer in scale to Konosuba.
Clearly, this was Ais' world.
Without hesitation, Takumi entered.
As he stepped in, many gods instantly sensed the presence of an intruder.
At that very moment, the gods were in the middle of a meeting.
The Loki Familia had just returned to the surface.
They immediately reported the situation to Loki.
Loki, shocked, wasted no time in reporting to Uranus—the founding god of the Guild and the first-generation King of the Greek pantheon. His status was exceedingly high.
